minnesotabongo-Pathetic comments regarding Florian's appearance. Finally an interesting looking ARTIST without the pasted down stoic, stick-up-the-keister sitting pose as 99 percent of the classical guitarists out there. I'd rather watch someone who looks like Harpo Marx and make faces while they play than try to keep myself from falling asleep watching the 'proper' players!

@Vitotesta In my opinion, there's nothing wrong either way. Williams would be an example of the "stiff" style. It's just how he plays, he doesn't show his feeling on his body. Some are different, such as florian, they don't do it for effect, it just happens. Some people find the gesticulation distracting, each guitarist to their own. As long as they can play.

I find that it's weird that a person could spend a lifetime in pursuit of an artistic reality and not even 5 minutes on his appearance.A member of the audience could easily be insulted by the striving for peer acceptance through the mediocre medium of facial and hair presentation. The faculty at GFA ,if they're aim is producing an artist 'for all seasons' , need to rethink their temporal dogma.

@minnesotabongo Oh come on ! He's a brilliant guitarist and that is what really matters . By the way , Florian is a very charming young man , very shy , soft-spoken ... It was a pleasure for me to hear him playing Bach and Dowland . And believe me , I've closed my eyes , I've just listened to him and I don't remember if he had black or white trousers ! Only the music matters and he's a great musician .
