Though there are games that do women justice and have both sides scantily clad in certain armors. In Skyrim, most of the light armor sets show more skin on men than women. And in elder scrolls, armor is made rather reasonably, and there's still a huge fanbase. I'd say they're just different ways to appeal to fans.

All our games used to get censored or refuse classification which meant we couldn't buy them, before the introduction of our R18+ rating system. @SomethingPsychotic I've played TERA. I presume you obviously haven't. I have not played GW2. I presume you haven't either. They both offer something different. I'd suggest playing any game your interested in before judging it, especially from just it's character creation. GW2 does look fun and being b2p is as good a reason as any to buy it. I like both GW2 and TERA and money permitting will get both. IMO TERA has better combat and visuals. GW2 has a better story and is casual friendly.
@DaftSebPunk Both games have PvP and PvE. Not sure where you're getting your information from, but I'd suggest looking at a more accurate source. TERA is a Korean game being published in NA and EU. I'd say that's a pretty big risk on it's own.

I would say that the models of our days are a way worse problem. They show younger girls that a woman should be so thin it ruins her body.

I understand partly why the armor is the way it looks, but it seriously won't do any good in combat.....might as well be wearing underwear and a bra!!! even more having like 4-5 in. heels doesn't seem very good either for fighting!!! good graphics, nice armor, but very unrealistic in the practical sense, but i know why would you want to look at female character with a lot of heavy armor on!!! lol

@18ch88 This is from the Korean TERA Open Beta that was last year in January. Yes, it has been a long time. Some people have been waiting for this game for 3-4 years. Your lucky you only found out about it, because guess what?
It's releasing 1st May in North America and 3rd May in Europe. If you preorder you get into all the CBTs, OBT and the head start before release.

@xwulfd The Elin armours are being 'changed'. Which is clearly censoring. I should know. I'm Australian. All our games used to get censored or refuse classification which meant we couldn't buy them, before the introduction of our R18+ rating system. There's a huge 'kaffufle' on the official forums about it. They look cheap and lazy. Clearly no effort has gone into changing them. I've done a better job in MSPaint.

@SomethingPsychotic I've played TERA. I presume you obviously haven't. I have not played GW2. I presume you haven't either. They both offer something different. I'd suggest playing any game your interested in before judging it, especially from just it's character creation. GW2 does look fun and being b2p is as good a reason as any to buy it. I like both GW2 and TERA and money permitting will get both. IMO TERA has better combat and visuals. GW2 has a better story and is casual friendly.

@DaftSebPunk Both games have PvP and PvE. Not sure where you're getting your information from, but I'd suggest looking at a more accurate source. TERA is a Korean game being published in NA and EU. I'd say that's a pretty big risk on it's own.

@bl3ach23 Unfortunately I wasn't able to record myself playing at the Eurogamer expo. I played GW2 (PvP and PvE) and the game is more innovative because it introduces us many new aspects : Like "holy trinity" suppression. THIS is the biggest risk they are taking.
When I said "risks" I was talking about actual gameplay innovation which can be dangerous to try.
I tried Tera too (got a 38 Archer on the KR)

Honestly, I love eyecandy as much as the next guy, but this is silly.
Why not let players create two different outfits? One thats sexy as hell for playing in town that gives you a Charisma bonus but almost no protection, and a outfit for adventuring that gives an Armor bonus?
Players can change their look during gameplay as they see fit.
