Luther is great. He was really one of a kind. Just have a look at Johnny Cash doing "Bonanza" on the Grand Ole Opry, and you'll get an idea of how awesome Luther was.
A Jaguar it was. This was right after Leo Fender introduced the Jaguar model. He was a very good friend of Luther's and always wanted him to play his latest guitar models, even though Luther himself actually wanted to stay with the classic Fender Esquire he had defined his tone on. He eventually got a masterbuilt Leo Fender Custom Esquire in 1965 and played it until he passed away (sadly) in 1968. Truly one of a kind!
This is such a cool cover. It has tone to die for and a great vibe. But the most impressive part is that it is the product of exquisite taste. I take my hat off. five stars.
the intro riff i think sounds better if you just play A STRING ON THE 2ND 3X D STRING ON THE FIRST 2X THEN LOW E STRING 2X ON THE 3RD THEN ONCE OPEN, great playing by the way
seriously the only thing missing was the applause track at the end.. you should definitely perform live if you don't already

Great finger picking, I've tried to learn the end of the song but I can't follow you. Could you tab it or make it slowly? Thanks.
