got a question ..

well i bought an AV-switch to split the signal from the AV-Composite ..

one in tv and one in the pinnacle .. well its ugly rly ugly ..

your record looks super nice .. s-video is guess ..

soo .. how you split the s-video signal? so you can play on tv and record with pinnacle at the same time? thanks in advance

@ForcepsDelivery funny story, i never used S-video signal while playing. i record in the theater mode.

to play and record- buy 3 AV-Switchers and a standard av cable. hook up ur xboxs cables in the switchers and the Av cable in the others.

wtf is "HQ?" lol you must mean "SD," which means Standard Definition as opposed to High Definition... & It is possible to play in HD and record in "SD." All you need is a PC-to-TV Converter to convert VGA to Composite/S-Video. I use the Sabrent PC-to-TV Converter Box.

i have tried every possible solution myself, cant do it without a HD PVR

You can play with the HD cables hooked up which makes it much easier to record and play.

but ur right it can only go to 480p like i said before use S-video composite....it does wounders

HQ is high as it can go, i wish there was a hd option....i tried looking into cables....and everything. if you want to record in HD u have to have a bigger budget size than $80

The problem for me is that I live in sweden so the cost for these things go stright through the roof.

The pvt cost like 120us here.

But since I've heard so much good comments about the hd pvr I think I'll just ask for one of those for my birthday...

pinnacle is way better you dont need to be near a tv way my videos on my channel i got some from pinnacle i use it its worth it dude you can record anything that you can hook up av cables (color cables) the quality rocks its just this guys video sucks with the quality

You should try this: Use Sony Vegas 7, change the properties of the video to 1280x720 (hd). Then go to effects, and sharpen the video. Then, go to "saturation" and mess around with the "boost midtones". finally, when you go to render it, save as a WMV with HD. IT looks really good.

I have the Pinnacle Vidoe transfer, have tested MULTIPLE settings in Sony Vegas, and NONE of them work because Vegas's built in de-interlacer is crap (using Vegas Pro 8 BTW) and it doesnt have an effects plugin for it (that I know of, if it does, where can I get it?)

I tried VDub btw, followed a couple of different tutorials, and it wouldnt work with MP4, plus it wouldnt deinterlace. So I use better

when i mean by that i havnt used it in a while. i know you can use a de-interlacer in vdub it works great.

if you have found a better option please let me know so i can update my info to ths video. any tips is great!

and i wish i knew were to find a plug-in.....i know that final cut pro has de-interlacer and i believe adobe premere has that also.

i have set it up and it works just fine the only problem is when i record my cod4 game play off my xbox360 in Best quality everything i move your shoot i get lines going across my screen but it works fine in better quality did you know how to fix this ?
