  • not welsht.but undoubtably the best trie from wales

  • One of the Welsh passes looks forward

  • English try: RAPIDITY

    French try: BRAINS

    Welsh try: DISCIPLINE

    Italian try: STRENGHT

    Irish try: SOLIDARITY

    Scottish try: ANTICIPATION

  • Welsh try: perfect rugby as you learned it.

French try: rugby as you never learned it.

  • @denjam That's why the French are the best: by instinct ;)

  • Welsh and France. Best

  • welsh try by far

  • Inverdale is looking a little cold there!

  • Comment removed

  • 23 people like football!

    thumbs up if you agree

  • That first try is right up there with the best of them. It wasn't flashy and it wasn't overly dramatic. But it was perfect running - no-one missed a step, the passes were to hand and the lines of running were perfect. Awesome!

  • as a scot im ashamed to see that pretty much every try on that list was conceded by Scotland...

  • Anyone know who won?

  • O'driscoll amazing back then and still amazing today!

  • love that they never mention Englands try was their first try in something like 18 months.

  • @thedr00 I didn't know that - good knowledge!

  • Me = 16

    Phil Bennet = LEGEND

  • Phil Bennett definitely. Amazing combinations of sidesteps and passes

  • 2:34 what was the winger doing he was miles in front

  • not being funny but technically only BOD or Bergamasco's tries occurred in the SIX nations - the rest were in the 5 Nations or simply 'the Championship"??

then again, I'm just a pedant...

  • pfft wales sidesteping is unbelievable france is ok but nowere near as good

  • phil bennet, but im biased!

  • the last one (wales ) was my favorite....

  • wow that Welsh pass isnt even debateable, thats clearly forward

  • @martyd1036 yeah who likes wales!

  • was that pass legal in the try from Wales at the end...? it almost looked like it went forward

  • It's between the French try and the Welsh try, but I prefer the Welsh because it was more demanding on pure rugby skills ; and I'm French! ;)

  • Inverdale's face ath the start! Has he just eaten a lemon?

  • 2:34 was such a forward pass

  • God bless 6 nations. France and Scotland particularly.

  • It's funny how most of those tries were from the 5 nations, not the 6 nations.

  • Saint Andre's try was the most entertaining in my opinion, but I think the most clinical try was O'Driscoll's while the Welsh one was a good example of organised teamwork, but still pretty entertaining. The Scottish one - well, it's not often you see Scotland score a try which started off near the opposite end of the pitch. The English one was a good solid try as well.

  • I'm an englishman, and even I have to say Saint Andre's try was absolutely incredible, definitely the best 6 nations try ever.

  • I love the pass at 2:38

  • and the welsh try was an example of brilliant hands at times the French one was the most memorising because of two kicks finely executed one after another!

  • people that have commented 'that Irish one was crap' Know nothing about the game of rugby. I think the French one was brilliant example of attacking football but the Irish try was an example of relentless phase play with rucking and 'quick ball' of the finest. To play through the forwards with quick passes bringing in the backs and finally scoring under the posts is the holy grail that all coaches are strivi9ng for.

  • that ireland one was crap

  • france hands down then the welsh try followed by scotlands and englands try. after that its italy's and irelands

  • à 2:36 y'a pas un peu en avant ? en meme temps vu comment il trace le gallois, ça doit pas être marrant de le suivre

  • Les français sont les meilleures !!! Mouhahaha

  • Nah,Wales in 1997 is the best!:)

  • Wales one is great very great, the first impact player is amazing, but the french ones is ending on a wonderful footkick which show an great vision of the game

  • 3:36 Forward pass

  • Wales & France tries a class above everything else. Wales just edges it on skill for me, with the French try the defence were terrible.

  • has to be wales

  • I love how most of the tries were against Scotland.

By the way, FRANCE's was pretty impressive, but I feel that it was less teamwork compared to WALES's try.

    Wales wins it for me.

  • @DaBigCheeseLuigi

except the welsh passed it forward see 2:35, the reciever is ahead of the passer

  • @nbciren

Its the camera angle that makes it look like a forward pass but it wasn't - Welsh try is the best try here followed by French try against England in 1991.

  • @DaBigCheeseLuigi It's strange how 1984, 1990 and 1999 seem to have been missed out - does that answer your question?

  • @DaBigCheeseLuigi 1995 seems to have been looked over as well.

  • @DaBigCheeseLuigi Sorry, I realise that you didn't ask a question, but I think I may have helped explain why most of these tries were against Scotland. Sorry about the grammar mistake - I meant to write overlooked, not looked over.

  • wtf. ive seen MUCH better trys than these in the 6 nations. especially by Ireland. The Irish try in this video is shite compared to most of their other tries. lol

  • the welsh try had a forward pass

  • @Marveh

    Camera angle decieves

  • 2:30 bad tackling

  • France's try was by far the best though Phil Bennetts and Mauro Bermascos were also great. O'Driscoll's should not be there. Heaslips against France in 09 or Horgan against England are the best tries scored by Ireland.

  • Da welsh was da best one overall

  • the scottish fullback got smoked by the italian flank lol

  • haha, the welsh try was blatently forward!!!

  • Phil Bennett's try amazing

    Saint Andre"s try second

  • @jerry7985 Agree with you! Phil Bennett's first then Saint Andre.

  • 2:35

    foward pass

  • clear!

  • 1 France (For now lol)

    2 Ireland

    3 England

    4 Wales

    5 scotland

    6 Italy

  • YES ! RUGBY it's life !!!!

  • Rugby is the meaning of life.

  • france by a country mile

  • @mc1703

No. Welsh try is the best here. Too much left to chance (i.e. the bounce of the ball) with the French try although its still a remarkable effort.

Welsh try is fluid and pure skill - no luck needed.

  • My god that number 8 for scotland could motor in the try that they scored.

  • 1. France

    2. Wales

    3. Scotland

    4. England

    5. Ireland

    6. Italy

  • that was mirco bergamasco

  • Bergamassco or calder

  • It's close but i like the last one best.

  • Guscott to Underwood looked forward as well.

  • That France try is just silly good! surely there is a better Ireland one though.....

  • France is definitly the most enjoyable rubgy in the world. This year they are finally coming back. I can't wait for France/England! Go France !

  • forward pass at 2:36.. No try

  • nah it was level mrfloppy joe if you watch it in slow, im Welsh and even i have to give it to the French that try was waht Rugby at its best is all about, teamwork coupled with individual skill, vision and above all bravery with a touch of French falir lets hope Fridays match has a few of those moments

  • but it was a welsh try???

  • definitly, it's so obvious.

  • that was a flat pass

  • Saint Andre's one in 1991.

  • amen

  • @MachidaLyoto

    it's absolutely unbelievable

  • that was a pretty average try for ireland i thought!

  • there were better irish than the one chosen above

  • They should put Shane williams' try today VS Scotland in that list now!!!!!!!

  • 2nd one. for sure.

  • last try is really nice

  • Last one is by far my favourite too, but to be fair it was a forward pass at 2:36 and possibly again at 2.38.

  • Also, where was the one Shane Horgan scored against England? can't remember what year it was.

  • i don't know . i don't watch often rugby matches, i prefer to play them

  • Was in 2006, but I agree, one of the most memorable tries of the Championship.

  • check out the following YT video. shows the uaf slagging off the union jack and the ST george

"theres nothing british about the uaf"

  • 2.36 is a forward pass :[]

  • Why on earth did they use the Irish try? They could have picked a much better Irish try than that one in all fairness.

  • I think it was the least memorable of three to be honest, but it was a multi-phase move started and finished by the same player though, maybe that's why

  • anyone know what the song is called that is played in the background?

  • anyone know what the song is called that is played in the background?

  • @deco998...

The Irish one was a very well worked try..

  • Bergamasco's was class

  • Yea the welsh one was a forward pass!!!!!

  • RIP Bill McLaren

  • defo the last one

  • Haha, the Irish one was SHIT!! compared to the rest anyway...

  • Have to agree, alas. Surely we've scored better than that!!

  • do you have to fall to get a try

  • no, just as long as you put downward pressure on the ball as it put down over thr try-line. People dive to make it a bit faster and bit more dramatic. ecspeccially Shane Williams' try in the world cup v Fiji lol

  • thanks

  • That Wales one at the end was a foreward pass!!!!

  • no 1 cared in the 70s

  • it only looks like that due to the abnormal earth tilt in Wales

  • I believe Mr MacHoodio needs to eat his words - Ireland dominated today - Carney is possibly the best 15 in modern day rugby

  • SA had a crap autumn.

  • cheating taffies

  • last one was forward pass 2:36

  • South Africa would finish third in the ^ nations. France showed them how rugby should be played on Friday and Ireland will do the exact same on the 28th!

  • i miss the days when people actually tried to play exciting rugby instead of just beating people up with their freak show muscles

  • its funny what u NH types think is a good try HA

  • Is it just me or did that wales try look like it had a forward pass. Go to 2:33 seconds and watch on.

  • ye it looks like it

  • Sorry to tell you all this NEWS..........

The Springboks are in talks to leave the tri-nations and join the 6 nations (7 Nations) due to the time differance playing in OZ and NZ. S.Africa is only 1 or 2 hours behind Eupore & makes it easier for them to play ball and have the support on TV.

This is fact......And all I can say is if this goes ahead it will be like taking candy from 6 babies......ha ha ha

  • Bollocks!

  • You'll see - it's fact.

    7 Nations here we come.

Only reporting what was on a Springbok news feed.

I said that it was in talks - did not say it was set in Stone yet.

  • Bollocks!

  • Try another word - other than BOLLOCKS.......

  • Bollocks!

  • More Bollocks!! ha ha

  • nah well see on the 28th!! us, the six nation champs and grand slam winners vs you, world champions and tri nations winners... cant wait!!^^,

  • Respect!!! - Will be a great game.

I don't mind - losing though. Gettin tired of winning and they need a come down.

  • @coolcooper1971 Least you forget Ireland beat South Africa only 2/3 months ago. France and wales will give you a good run for your money.

  • the french is sure the best try,our try (bergamasco's) is the worse...and yes in bennetts try there's three fowards pass

  • french is the best

  • Phil Bennetts? I counted 3 forward passes and I'm Welsh!

  • Gotta give it to the Frogs, for the balls to run it from behind their own line, and then actually pull it off.

God I miss rugby like this.

  • only worked in the days when forwards were forwards (ie. beer bellies and hanging tongue), difficult to imagine in todays game

  • Bias would say Calder's try but the French try is a classic. Wales comes second.

  • has to be the french one

  • the french try is the best, french flair try!!

  • Gareth Edwars?? Where is Gareth Edwards??

  • england just has to be first, fucking cunts.

  • They didn't show the long phases that build up to the last 2 tries - probably didn't have enough time

  • wales

  • i dont think o'driscolls try should be there. Dont get me wrong hes an unreal player im irish but im just saying that surely theres a better try than that!

  • theyre doing one from each country so they must have judged that to be the best irish try for sum reason

  • That was prob the best try tho! Irish team smashing up towards try line for O'Driscol to finish off. Great team effort

  • coolest fucking video i've seen in a long time...

  • 2 forward passes in the wales try

  • Wales

  • surely u can find a better 1 for scotland

  • The Welsh Try or the French Try tbh.

  • wales was the best

  • wales was definitely the best

  • IRELAND

  • Underwoods try was brilliant

  • IRELAND

  • WALES

  • the french 1 was great

  • France try against England pure brilliance!!

  • Of those the French try is the best, but these are not the greatest 6N tries available.

  • Definitely the French one, just brilliant.

I'm liking the Scottish one too though, all those forwards in support running all that way...

  • French Flair .......

they could chose an other one for ireland, I doubt this is the greatest try they scored ...

  • Ireland have got way better tries that this try by BOD mate, Tommy Bowe against Wales Grand Slam game 09, Shane Horgan cross field kicl croke park versus England

  • Saint Andre' wins

A great combination of guts, speed, skill, teamwork and luck ;)

  • Saint Andre i think is the best...Phil Bennett brilliant try, slight suspicion of a forward pass though?? anyone else think this?

  • agree it looks like a forward pass, but it is a try.

  • I know the try was given man but obviously if it was a forward pass then the try shouldnt have been given...still brilliant move though

  • phil bennett is the best

  • No. 12 in the first try has got some real wheels am i wrong?

  • Wow you never see quality tries like this in the Rugby League.

  • great try france...

  • id say u could fly in some of those jerseys, mad wings on em

  • Listen to the emotion in Bill McLaren's voice during Jim Calder's try. Bill is a legend.

  • Welsh try had 2 forward passes. French try wins easy.

  • tbh mate your thoughts of a good try are shit and twisted

    your obviously a back

  • sure huge foward pass!!

  • forward pass at 2:37

  • lol when i went to NZ the 2nd biggest sport was womens net ball
