That woman is just the people he was talking about. Some people are so dumb we did not come to think we came to laugh. Science has a terrible habit of thinking it has it all pegged. The world was once flat ya know.
I mean sure, physiologically, there are differences, which have an impact on brain function- visual and aural ability etc- but its pretty naiive to think that this is translatable into a dichotomy between emotion/logic. Don't forget, the world was a different place when the earlier studies were conducted and you had social conditioning also having an impact on behaviour.

A random example- Wars are generally driven by men... but spending huge amounts of money on creating enemies through war (self perpetuating) in an already suppressed economy simply ISN'T logical - its an emotional response... largely fear driven i reckon...

Being a big thinker doesnt make them right either.... lol :-) There are studies going on all the time that highlight the flaws of previous gender studies and theories, which are only theories btw... where statistics don't back up generalisations that are too widely regarded as factual ... Have a read of Brain Storm: The Flaws in the Science of Sex Differences by Rebecca Jordan-Young.
Science has a terrible habit of thinking it has it all pegged. The world was once flat ya know.

I mean sure, physiologically, there are differences, which have an impact on brain function- visual and aural ability etc- but its pretty naiive to think that this is translatable into a dichotomy between emotion/logic. Don't forget, the world was a different place when the earlier studies were conducted and you had social conditioning also having an impact on behaviour.

Your logic here is flawed (naturally), Bill was logical, he has the masculine gift of emotional restraint (which women lack (except in short bursts)) and a superior male logical mind. This combination isn't the norm necessarily either but rather what made him special.
