If we only had books, movies and music that dealt with the good times, I think people would miss out on a lot art, especially for others with similar backgrounds to relate to (as I have with other artists growing up - If they could endure, so could I, I felt).

When I take a clear look at almost everything creative in this world I see that it has come about as a release of some frustration. Art, theatre, music, film, literature, even the advances in science and technology, what drives people so hard to express, create or research and work with such enthusiasm is almost always dissatisfaction with the way things are.
There are a few people who have given us offerings of their experience of God, as it appears to them, but they are very rare.
many people go through darkness to find the light. that is just one element of creation. are we not allowed to feel any sadness, pain, anger or regret now, not allowed to express how we have felt? What kind of life is that?

I don't mean to be inconsiderate of your experiences, but you got a great creepy voice. It will do you good. Keep doing this type of thing and more and you are going to reap great rewards.

I think its nice to realize anyone can go through some adversity in life and that there are ways to purge/heal it (e.g. art, meditation, japa, etc) and one can transcend everything and create or flow with a life more ideal, Divine
Abuser and de abused are one and the same, just differnt view points in time. The abuser was also once abused, so for them, the eventual abuse of another brings long desired balance and understanding of the original misundrstood abuse they suffered. ie solution = victem sees perpertrator as a abuse sufferer like themselves, and therefore instantly knows the true reason behind such seeming dispicable / unforgivable acts

The words chilled me, so much darkness, and it is such a shocking contrast the way you display such innocence and freedom in the children. The words are so deep and sharp with so much meaning in them. You are a woman of courage.
I like how you clearly make a separation between the soft, unconscious world of innoncence, that breaks when you grow up and you realize life is not like in fairy tales! you just have to face the darkness of life!
