  • a great movie film, i would def rec it to anyone. i cried at the end. it was shear brilliance.

  • all japanes soldiers who fought for second world war desreve not to live like caterpillar.

thats too much mercy for them.

the war was aggressive war, and they all shoud die at the war. no pity at this movie at all.

  • [spoilers] Her husband doesn't deserve her service since he used to beat her. The sex scenes were bold but quite beautiful in a sense that a woman is willing to go to great lengths to please someone she cares for. These days women will walk out on you just for leaving the toilet seat up (I'm exaggerating but you know what I mean). A disabled man, if he's a good person, should be allowed to be sexually pleasured. It shouldn't be ugly like the way society sees it. It's as normal as breathing.

  • I read in an interview with Koji Wakamatsu that this was filmed in and around Nagaoka inn Niigata prefecture, Chubu region. Would anyone know where exactly the scenes of the homes and fileds were? I love old Japan like this and am going this fall. I have already been to traditonal places such as Takayama and Kanazawa. Thanks!

  • I thought this drama was superb.

  • 反日国家の好きそうな映画です。

  • I must be thinking of the wrong movie.

Isn't there a Japanese straight-up horror film called "Caterpillar"? I heard about it years ago, so it can't be this one. It was supposed to be about torture. i think it might have been a short film.

  • @hammerofmariotos hey I think I know what you're referring to, it seemed familiar to me too. I think it *might* have been inspired by a short from this omnibus collection, Rampo Noir?

  • @retrobaby25 Jesus, please inform yourself, that's what internet is for. Both films are based on legendary and banned short story by ero guro king Edogawa Rampo, first published. in 1929. Manga version by ero guro mangaka Suehiro Maruo was also recently published. This movie is the same story, with a bit more politics added to the SM mix.

  • @bizarrejapan didn't have to be a dick about it, but thanks :)

  • @GriffinDarrenns I didn't find it.... U.U

  • @saritamiel85 dud, they are all spammers.

  • @MatthewYoung25880 you found the film funny? you're sick!

  • @wachtturm um, I think that's a troll that just copy pastes the same line on every video, hoping people would click onto that link.

  • so she married a caterpillar?,

  • @Jabyjabjab01

her hasband lost his arms and legs coz of war.

he can't speak, listen, he can't do anything by his self.

all he can do is just crawling on the floor like caterpillar.

  • A história de cotoco.

  • Interesting, I'll be trying to catch it these Sunday, if there's still tickets left here in Berlin.
