Darn, I bought some stuff at sephora but they were out of stock with the shade i wanted so I just bought a different shade for same price hoping to go in store and do an exchange upon receiving the product. thanks for letting me know. I hope they're able to do it w/o making me pay the difference.

She should have definitely told you that the 20% did not apply. She might not have meant anything by it, but you should ALWAYS tell the customer when you're charging more than you paid at the time.

@peekahpooh I definitely should of tried that! I just assumed that it was going to work. The sales associate definitely didn't make me feel comfortable enough to even ask a question. But I shouldn't let her phase me since it's MY moolah! Not one of my best characteristics :)

You shouldn't have bring the receipt, you wouldn't have to pay extra that way. If I were you, I'd return it right now at the store and buy another one online with the 20% coupon :)

Loved all the things you got! But here is what you do when exchanging or returning things at sephora... do it without the receipt. You'll get the full amount either in the exchange or store credit. Its kind of back handed but, man, an exchange is an exchange and they shouldn't charge you extra for it.

Oh and btw, I will never go back to a sephora store..only online because their employee's I'm sorry, but rarely know how to use the cash registers I have had 4 transactions there in a row where there was a problem/they just do things back there without explaining it to you (like you said) to me that is unacceptable!....Anyway great haul :) .... I got the JB perfume too it smells great!!

@KateLovesBeauty05 I mainly use this concealer for my problem areas and I LOVE IT. Not so much for my under eyes because I find it a bit drying for that area.
