  • Well said! Cheers man

  • Easily the most inspirational speech i've ever heard, and i've been a major TED fan for years now. Much love and thank you man.

  • man i try to think in my life now of some changes and...quit something but real feel and the universe will return it back... im a traceur by the way and with a masters...

  • is he even in front of a real crowd?

  • his friend is awesome

  • Hey all. It's me Tah Riq. I wish this talk was on my own channel so then I could respond to you guys. I've had so much great feedback after this talk and sharing it has been one of the defining moments of my life. Some of you have reached out and emailed me in addition to posting on here. Its never too late to start again, or pick up where you left off. The more you embody the success you wish to have the more your environment begins to shift to make that your reality. Much love to all, Tah Riq

  • Been doing Parkour for around 2 years now. I rarely do it now 'cause I felt like I wasn't good enough and that I wasn't making any progress.

Hearing this guy just changed that, I feel the need to experience parkour again, I feel like running and jumping everywhere, and achieving things I never though I could ever do...

  • I just feel motivated to play drums after seeing this and that I can get good at it one day.

Thanks a lot from a swedish, 17 years old drummer!

  • Can someone tell me where I can find LYRICS?!

  • the best speech what i´ve ever heard amazing!!! it´s realy important to me heard it couse i am parkour practitioner too so :)) thank you so much man! :) ♥

  • so it really does boil down to believing in yourself.. nice roll btw dude,

  • This was all the inspiration i needed to start my parkour training back up.

  • As soon as he said Daniel Ilabaca I was like.. WHOAA

  • Nothing is true, everything is permitted...

  • @Evilstuff YES

  • He is surely free from the Matrix :)

  • Where can I find a friend like that?

  • What a shitty poem.

"Brag Brag Brag Brag" Blah blah. I'm awesome, you can be awesome because I know exactly how your life is.

Jesus 5-9 hours a day? Didn't he have school? I had school and a shitty job my parents made me take.

  • @Fwibos Alright, I guess this is ok. Still, I wish I had a friend willing to help me like that. The crowd in my head has tomatos.

  • @Fwibos hey, its Tah Riq. Reading your response man I had to reach out. Sorry it's 2 months late. I don't claim to have grown up in your shoes or had your parents or pressures. I spent that time playing guitar after school because I didn't have many friends then. Your challenges were greater than mine for sure.Everyone starts somewhere, start now. Otherwise in 10 years you'll blame where you're at on a childhood you left long ago. The tomatoes are in your head, not around you. Tah Riq

  • how did he grew his hands and legs back?

  • has this guy met the 8 year old sonata writer?

  • That was fucking awesome

  • I lived in that basement for a decade and went blind from staring at the dark. A leap of faith. Learning to have faith now and it's a strange experience, but you've made me realize it's all steps on faith. Every step we take. Time to walk back into the light. Thank you for your words. They ring true and that's a sweet sweet sound. Truth has a pure ring like silver. I shall follow my own heart now. It lays the path before me. Great words Bard. Sing them and make them forever.

  • im reborn...thx man, u are my idol =')

  • thx bro, follow your passion that is in you, (which mean you feel very happy and recharged or transform every time you do it), and bless the world around you. Don't just copy it from other person.

  • thank you for opening my mind!

  • the mind of every traceur .... Belief

  • Thank you for wasting me mine 20 minutes xD

  • @DarkProductions16 ... you worthless scum.. :)

  • @ToniRubinic Hah bitch with your noob videos

  • Thanks all...event the 2 dislikes who still took the time to watch my talk.

    TAH RIQ

  • And then he woke up.

  • Great speech

  • This hippy knows that life is a strugle but he says it so much brighter..

  • So much respect to this guy right now.

  • Anyone can translate to spanish and put subtitles?

Alguien que lo traduzca a español y le ponga subtitulos por favor?

  • You sir, are my hero. Much respect to you.

  • words of wisdom

  • I feel for that one person.

  • Can someone from the Parkour community put this vid onto one of the forums...I think it would resonate with people who also do parkour as they are the same people looking for an escape, sensing something is wrong with the system but not knowing how to step out of it so training becomes the release. It was for me. It gave me the mindset to break out. The powers that be want a world scared of the outside, of eachother, disconnected, lazy and sat infront of a TV. We already have a big advantage no?

  • @splitpersanity just did ;)

  • @kevzmaw nice

  • @ChrispyNET No problem! ;)

  • This video puts into words all the feelings I've had about the world for so long. I'm about to start college in the fall and I can't help but question if that's the right path for me. I know what I love, I love doing parkour. I never had a desire to go to school, it always just felt like something that was expected of me. And now here I am, about to commit another 4 years and dive headfirst into a pool of debt, and I ask myself, "Is this what I should be doing?"

  • @RocketLegsPK

I here you man. Actually at university I learned a lot of my design skills and essay writing habits (though a lot of that is self teaching) I also really grew into my own person, so can't say it was a waste. That said however, degrees are growing to mean less and less these days depending on your field, and it is a way to tie yourself into economic slavery to pay back the 'student loan'. I'd say use the parkour mindset to unlock other areas of your life and do what feels right

  • @splitpersanity thanks man. as for parkour itself, your stories have also been inspiring my training as well. using that mindset of saying that the only thing that changes is you, has helped me overcome a lot of mental barriers i've had lately.

  • @RocketLegsPK

Yeah man it did the same for me too when Danny said it to me. It's absolutely true through, jumps don't get bigger or smaller, fear is always located in a yet unmanifested future or now irrelevent past. It's not about how much experience you have, but rather how much you are able to unlock yourself within the moments that count. This is something Danny and his brothers also shared with me. Clarity and presence.

  • Tah Riq is amazingly insightful, multitalented man I am proud to call a friend.

He is beautiful inside out and I'm really happy to see how many people realise his value in this world.

  • @chelah thats just about the sweetest thing anyone has said to me, thanks Sarah

  • If more people learned to do parkour and adopted its mind set of limitless potential and challenging notions of what is and isn't possible, the system would lose its power to hold them and more people would find their thruth....that we are far more powerful than cogs in a machine and a machine without cogs is no machine at all

  • i have done Parkour/Freerunning in almost 3 years i i totaly agree with all he is saying parkour changes your life.

  • Thank you all for the great comments and feedback. I'm thrilled at how its really resonating with a lot of you. Amazing really how a contained 20 minute talk can reach so many people that weren't there on the day, the joys of technology. I'm grateful that so many people have found this inspiring. Much love, T

  • i'm on halfway leaving school, i've had felt stuck and when my parents asked me what i was gonna do with my future, i told them 'I don't know, i'll get a job - and after that? - i'll find an other' No clear plans, i'll just do what's the right for me at the time. and then i watched this video.

I don't know if quitting school would be the best choice, but staying in it wouldn't be good either.. but your speak made me realise lots of things. i'd really like to get to know you better Tah Riq :D

  • @Rabald93 don't think about the future. You will ALWAYS do everything in the present. all you have is the moment you are in now. Make the most of each and the future will unfold. If school was really meant to make you a better person it A: wouldn't cost so much B: have lessons in money management, spiritual awareness, connectedness, critical thinking among others. I'm not saying leave school. Just be aware of how its shaping you. Read between the lines

  • This made me try a wallflip last week,... !!!!

I tried it just 15 min,... and my first wallflip was done.

  • this changed my life

  • @GarrettGoodwin1

hey man, how so. please share if you are able to?

  • @splitpersanity it made me realize that i need to chase my dream, pursue what makes me happy, and not listen to all of the haters that say u cant, wont, shouldn't.

  • oh man, this is so inspiring, i'm traceur too and this is so inspiring for me!so beautiful, and Danny is one of my idols!

  • This is an amazing story, it's amazing for it's brutal honesty and just how pure his words are. Completely agree. It's becoming less and less of a coincidence that parkour or free running has helped monumentally change peoples lives. From day I started at age 14 i'm now 19 and can see just how much it has helped shape and change my life for the better.

  • i could look this like 100 times

  • "mi mente" on vimeo

  • YES!!!! One more of our resistence resistance! One more making free minds figthing for wath real life most be!! Please look at this vid is not mine! Just is one more of us and is from my beatifull country..

  • @splitpersanity i didnt mean that im reckless or careless with what i do or that i throw myself around all silly nilly but that what my family sees, me throwing myself from roofs. I love what the human body can do and i take good care of mine so i can do it for years and years to come

  • best thing ever heard

  • @Reeceholmespk I'm in the same boat dude! My parents and grandparents are really confused why i love to go out and throw myself from rooftops and i always seem to be getting hurt, i graduate this weekend and on tuesday i injured my leg on a trampoline doing backflips and can barely walk so everyone is pretty upset at me haha but it wont keep me from trying again when im feeling better and i know that my health will get me back up and going by this weekend no problem

  • @DevramAbyss please don't mis interpret what im saying or miss the point.. I'm not saying throw yourself of roofs, I'm saying do what feels right against adversity

  • Wisewords.

  • One Word To Explain This Video, Inspirational...!!

  • this is crazy,... that should come on TV!!!

  • wise words

  • thank you man, really thank you!

  • Thank you, so much.

  • This video is amazing and inspiring. Thankyou.

  • Good stuff, very, very good stuff thank you!

  • Good afternoon all. Thank you all for taking the time to watch, comment and respond to me personally (shout out to Gabor). I invite you to share it with anyone. We are greater than the sum of our parts and our reach extends beyond the physical. When a fast moving meteorite hits the Earth, the mark it leaves is exponentially larger than the object itself. Its velocity makes it far more powerful and strike deeper than its physicality. Positively speaking, THAT is the kind of impact I wish to have.

  • Words cannot describe how inspiring this video is.

  • Really inspiring video!

  • Yes tahriq! well done man! so spoke so well!

  • nice words, tks for sharing. peace, from Brazil.

  • Bravo!

  • This needs to be seen world wide. Too many people now a days struggling and stressing about finances and rarely do i see someone who is truly happy. This goes right along with what Tim Shieff said, " Society's not always right." So with this video people will realize they dont need to live life according to the standards society has set in place. They just need to follow their own paths and truly embrace themselves and be who they really are. This video alone could create world peace.

  • @MotusPK Word man, Give the respect to God,

    peace brother ,

    safe training

  • @mattnexus I wouldnt give respect to god, i would give my respect to the people who inspire me with happiness. For me, god has nothing to do with how i live my life. But we're all different....

  • @Josour17 I respect you brother and I respect God, Like you say ,we're all different, I wish you well with training and life ,

    Take Care,

  • I don't think anybody realises how much sense this is making to me right now. I should be revising for exams; I'm not. I'm a young teenager ripping my hands open & jumping off things. In 50 years time i may not be the richest or smartest. But i will never regret not revising as I'm doing something i enjoy. And this 20 minute video has just explained my meaning of life. Don't let your bad thoughts in your head shout over the small positive ones. Thanks do Danny and Tahriq, I'm not worrying.

  • @Reeceholmespk well done reece:)

  • @Reeceholmespk you did good Reece!

  • @Reeceholmespk Hey man I all of a sudden feel some sense of growing responsibility. I never said don't honour your commitments. Prepare yourself for the world you are living in, and at this point in your life that probably means revising for your exams. All I'm saying is when the time is right, act from the heart not out of pressure or fear of failure. I got all my qualifications and wouldn't be able to do what I'm doing now creatively without that knowledge and experience. Don't lose sight.

  • @Reeceholmespk Im the Same, I hurt myself occasionally, but i always think, "this is So much better than being trapped in the system" I dont care about what job ill have in the future, i dont care about money, cars or fame, i just want freedom

  • @Reeceholmespk I'm glad you've managed to justify to yourself sherking off revision.

  • 20 minutes well spent! opens new sights of life indeed!

  • how can anyone deslike this video and this deep words Daniel marcus ilabaca a man with a vision <3

  • A-MAZING! Always knew Danny was a good tudor and a friend in need =)

  • about 4 months ago i was practicing back flips on my trampoline. trying to learn them wishing one day i could do it on the ground. i fell on my neck and got a scar on my face. a while before that i got a sprain my ankle trying it on the Gym Flor... after then i had been way to scared to even try it. but after this video i when back on my trampoline and did a back flip. im almost falling both my classes in college but im not scared if i do thanks to Tahriq and Dany.
