Also when I bought my MBP about 6/7 years ago, it was a bit more expensive then back that! But is has remained very stable during that period and is still very adequate when it comes to performance. Compared to a cheap plasticy toy that won't see it's 3rd birthday and probably now almost buckles under minor arbitrary loads, I'd say my machine is well worth the investment.

@frankmat Also VS Express is an extremely crippled version of VS. It uses a sub-standard, non optimizing compiler, cannot use databases and cannot use plugins. It's ok for beginners but not much else. Even the standard version of VS costs in excess of $1000.

PowerPC processors were actually faster. Even the Xbox360 opted to use them. IBM/Motorola were getting slow in the development, though, so Apple made the switch for a more reliable partner in Intel.

@MrDemilord I'm just gonny go on a whim here. While I think that 300$ really is too much I still think that apples qulity is better than most other products out there. I ran over my ipod with my bycicle. Other than a few dents and scratches it still works fine. It's a 3g nano and other than the battery life being shorter (I listen to A LOT of music) it still works like new.
apple has the same quality as other pc or phone manufacturors.. They all have the same Dead on Arrival 13% It uses intel chips.. Samsung screens and cases.. and other pc parts.. It's nothing magical with apple.. Only thing Apple does is choose the hardware put a nice case on them and a signature of steve jobs.. I bet it will sell millions

Sorry, but you sound a little clueless.
PowerPC processors were actually faster. Even the Xbox360 opted to use them. IBM/Motorola were getting slow in the development, though, so Apple made the switch for a more reliable partner in Intel.
For every "highly rated" Android phone you show me, I can show you 10 that are shit. It's a fragmented OS that has to stoop to the lowest common denominator. Even their high-end phone operate choppily in comparison to Apple's devices.

1.Consumer reviews rate Android phones higher, so they don't have the best phone.

@MrDemilord I'm just gonny go on a whim here. While I think that 300$ really is too much I still think that apples qulity is better than most other products out there. I ran over my ipod with my bycicle. Other than a few dents and scratches it still works fine. It's a 3g nano and other than the battery life being shorter (I listen to A LOT of music) it still works like new.
