i studied and experiment in mycology... i grow / culture my own mushrooms and yeasts... we eat mushrooms at least three times each week in my household... i can't say enough good things fungus... she is correct, many mushrooms have auto immune properties... a fortune 500 pharmaceutical company i used to work for had multiple labs dedicated to extraction and synthesizing of compounds found in specific species of mushrooms... the goal? cancer and autoimmune research...
