  • i really dont understand why people search such incredible songs only to dislike/thumb them down.

  • @julielovesyou321 You don't have to search to watch a video on Youtube. You could have followed a link, it could have been suggested etc. Just saying.

And I love this song. :)

  • Thumbs up if the Fallout 3 brought you here :D

  • @taegget i know dude...i would love to live when this was made....best time ever.

  • Thank you FALLOUT 3 for teaching me how horrible the music nowadays is, making me love 50s and 60s music, which was a brilliant era :) i feel so sad i can't live back then... :)

    waaayyy baaaaack home

  • Thank you! I haven't heard this song in years! :))

  • Who cares how you stumbled upon the music? If its good music thats all that should matter. Doesnt matter if your grandparents played you the records or if three dog played it to you. We all love the same music :)

  • this can make anybody homesick and burst out crying

  • GNR

  • i wish i grew up with the music and with the current technology

  • sure i first heard this song on a video game then i started listening to other 50's era music on sirus xm and now im addicted

  • @MrTacofreako It's great, isn't it?

  • @SamTheToyRobot I found to be addicted to the 40's XM.

  • @MrTacofreako ikr just imagine the 1950's are awesome everyone was happy :)

  • I hate when people look down upon us who learned this music from F3. Why is that bad? Would you rather us listen to the shitty fabricated music released nowadays? Who cares where we learned it? Lets just enjoy it.

  • such and addictive song on fallout 3

  • Patrolling the DC almost makes you...ohhh shit. It's cold and irradiated enough already.:(

  • you are the ugliest

    you're mom is sluttiest

    you're dad is mustiest

    your sister, the horniest

    Way back home.

  • @electricbugaluu111 thats not funny at all its actually an abomination

  • Stars are the Shittiest?

    What? XD

  • @WolfgangCloud ''Shootiest''

  • @WolfgangCloud stars are the shootiest. shootiest!

does sound a lot like shittiest tho :P

  • ....everywhere I go....

  • The owls are the hootiest.

  • Great song, I'd reccomend the Boswell Sisters version for those who haven't heared it, it's excellent.

  • Visto tambien en VENEZUELA

  • @taranttulacs That's a bit ignorant.

  • @SamTheToyRobot Not really. Go back in time, change your skin colour and try go in that nice restaurant across the street...

  • @SamTheToyRobot

But sadly, it is true, In the 50's racism was a big problem and the blacks weren't happy with the fact that they were a victim of segregation during that era. Not to mention the fact the Ku Klux Klan was revived due to some civil rights movement. The way tarenttulacs said that was ignorant, but sadly he is right.

  • @SamTheToyRobot There's a general truth to his statement though, ignorant or not.

  • I think everyone else as young as me knows this song from Fallout, but on the old kids network "Noggin", I think, there was this moose that would sing to this tune with different lyrics.

  • @Wholecorpze Pretty sure you're thinking of Yakity Yak...?

  • Comment removed

  • @SamTheToyRobot Nope, that was Moose. I remember.

  • @SamTheToyRobot Nope, he's right

  • @Wholecorpze Thats what reminded me of this song... My sister has noggin on and the fag moose was singin it

  • why would people dislike this song its a really good song.

  • @lazyartist32 trolls

  • bob crosby better then bing crosby!

  • Gotta love the Irony in Sams reply to the first comment....thats putting it rather black and white...segregation...irony

  • And, homosexuality was considered a mental illness for Christ's sake. Not to mention, Scientology was invented in the 1950's when L. Ron Hubbard published "Dianetics." I personally have nothing against Scientologists, but I'll bet the majority of the people watching this do.

  • Why couldn't the fifties have happened forever?

  • @Westmoon67 'Cause Martin Luther King, Jr. was born, and besides, all black people are bitches. Seriously, is everyone who comments on this video a racist, or just retarded? The fifties were a HORRIBLE time for 30% of the U.S. population. That includes Hispanics, who were also targeted during this period.

  • Hungover... Wake and bake, a cup of coffee, and this song. Now I feel better

  • Now this is the shit.

  • love this song

  • man the 50's were the best time in history everyone was happy.

  • @bithers9 That's putting it rather black and white. No era has ever been without it's problems. But, the 50's are regarded as a rather prosperous, happy time. That I'm sure has a lot to do with people wanting a change coming out of WWII. Of course, though, the cold war was going on and people were worried about nuclear attacks and communists invading. :P

  • @bithers9 dude i know.

  • @bithers9

Unless you were anything but a Heterosexual White Christian.

  • @bithers9

Not really. Maybe in music it sounded so. I wouldn't think all the African Americans were that happy with segregation and jim crow laws though. Plus all the people getting arrested for political views lol.

  • @bithers9 the 50's the (early) 20's and the 80's were all happy times (Cold War in the 50's, The Great Depression in the 20's and I guess the Regan era coming to an end in the 80's?)

  • I like both Fallout 3 and older music. I hate it when people say, "I HEARD IT BEFORE FALLOUT 3, YOU ALL SUCK." We both love the song, so just enjoy the music, no need to start an argument over who heard it first.

  • Wow! someone actually knew about this before Fallout 3!

I thought the ink spots and roy brown were the only ones actually known before Fallout 3

Though in new vegas, A LOT of people knew bout' Big iron :D

  • What year did this song come out in?

  • @christianistheboss In case you missed what I put. "Here it is for all of you Fallout 3 fans or those that just love good ol' classic music!"

  • @christianistheboss Bob Crosby is dead,so how can this video be for his enjoyment?

  • @christianistheboss Hey, guess what, almost nobody cared about this song for years before Fallout 3 came out. I think its great the fallout series enjoyed this song enough to pay homage to it in their game, and if you're such a fan of "good ol' classic music" you should just shut up and be happy that people were able to breathe new life into it, and generate a genuine interest in this song and songs like it.

  • @christianistheboss oh shut it who cares where you heard it, if you love the song, you've all got something in common.

  • @christianistheboss HIPSTER KITTY: Fallout? what's that? I just love Bob Crosby and the Bobcats!

  • dude it was epic! At the capitol building i just killed the behemouth when the song just ended. way back, way back, way baauukk hoo-BOOM!-ooome

  • This song makes me cry.

  • Thumbs up if Three Dog actually tricked you while pretending to be John Henry Eden. I was moving to switch the station, thinking " What the hell! I hate the Enclave, I didn't put this shit on." Than he yelled "GOTCHA!!!"

  • listen up children this stuff's important!!

  • This song makes me want to go take out a few Raiders.

  • As you said few weeks ago, good music will be good music.

  • do kids realy play theese many video games theese days

  • @popsterbob yes.

  • Who knew an 'M' game could bring back the good(er/est lolol) music?

  • lol now listening to this song i think of fall out 3. not 1970s or whatever. haha

  • @1lucy9nka9a4 Not the 1970's at all... more like the '30s to '50s

  • @Sporevideomaker hahah thats the one, knew i had it wrong

  • @1lucy9nka9a4 lol 70's is all classic rock , not this.

  • @1lucy9nka9a4 i did say or whatever ;))

  • Fallout 3!!!! lol i luv the old timey music, it make me feel like my generation is silly

  • @legendofj1 know how you feel man, if you compare this to todays crap...you'll see a difference in quality

  • I'm far too young to be the target audience for this song.... nevertheless, it stirs a chord within me.

  • @Dusios There is no "target audience" here. Good music is good music. :)

  • @SamTheToyRobot

    that is just sooooooo true!!!

  • @Dusios Who said there's a target audience? Most of the stuff I listen to is from 20's-50's and I'm 15. No one said the only people who can listen to this is those who lived back when good music was being made.

  • "Thanks for listening chiiiiildren!"

  • @pandadardar

Because 1 dog isn't enough, and 2 is too little, it's 3 doooog!!

  • My favourite song!! Always cheers me up :D

  • inigualable !!!

  • let's see a song that's better than this....

oh I know! Dear Hearts and Gentle People, but wait...

that's by Bob Crosby and is in Fallout 3 too

    Fallout 3 for life

  • Tenpenny is the haughtiest

    The nightwear the naughtiest

    The ghouls are the rottiest

    Their skin is the spottiest

    The bombs, the boomiest

    The waste, the fumiest

    Way back home

  • @steviejeans Clever, very clever.

  • my stars are way shootier than yours!

  • funny how such a peaceful song makes me think about blowing off heads in slow motion

  • i love this song. does anyone know the chords for guitar?

    cheers.

  • GNR <3 MADE ME LISTEN TO GOOD MUSIC

  • once i read the lyrics i was like :O

  • whenever this song finishes on youtube i always expect three dog to to start speaking :D fallout 3 ftw <3

  • Four people who have no idea of what real music is. Bob Crosby, Glenn Miller, Tommy & Jimmy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Les Brown, etc.

  • Fallout 3 brought me here.

  • lolz funny how fallout 3 got me into this type of music even more =P

  • I wanna go home D:

  • @DOCSFC

  • Love it!

  • Fallout 3 FTW!

  • I would play this on convoys in Afghanistan. The words rock!

  • @Patjersey3000 You serve in the military?

  • @Patjersey3000 hahaha, we do when we can, usually not on mission's though, the music will give away our position

  • ahhh, listening to this makes me happy. probably (definetly) because of association with fallout 3.

  • i totally thought he was black!

  • @deltaofwar really?? why

  • @clevelandtyler2 such a deep voice idk i just pictured him as a black dude.

  • @deltaofwar I can't really imagine a black dude singing this song. or someone as young as the guy in the picture. more like a 35-50 year old white dude.

  • Fallout 3 Brought me Here

  • @DavidAnthonyRuiz really? :P

  • fallout. good game, atleast it's not all the faggots from mw2 commenting on all the gun and military videos

  • @MetallicA478

True that man. If you play a war game, you become a gun expert. Haha.

  • tjis song is perfect for fu cking up super mutants

  • Who cares if most people are here only because of Fallout 3? It's a great game with great music, and if a bunch of people who might not otherwise care about classic music take an interest because of a video game, how is that a bad thing?

  • I don't want to sound arrogant but this song is awesome despite me hearing it from Fallout 3.

  • 4 people cant find their way back home

  • I am not here for fallout im here because i like the song and i heard it in fallout so there

  • @gypsiecat1 honey I was sarcastic... I love the song and the game very very much pay attention:D

  • The Trolls the fuckiest

  • nick jr's "everywhere i go". they brought that shit back haha

  • wow bob cosby got in with fallout lol

  • @ryanw1010 well hey what about guitar hero and rock band? you play them just to listen to the soundtrack and tap on a plastic guitar. and to say it doesn't take effort to put together music for a game is a shitty statement, the music for fallout was picked perfectly to add awesomeness to a post apocalyptic world can picture any other music genre in this game?

  • @MrLotusfeet2 i've personally expected punk rock, but i was positively surprised by the Jazz.
