There are 2 reviews of the literature on dolphin "therapy." Of course playing dolphin sounds isn't what is considered dolphin therapy. Both come to the same conclusion - it's bogus. I enjoy listening to whale song. I don't think it creating any kind of transcendental state for me however. :(

I work with disabled adults, some autistic and play dolphin sounds in my room for those I take care of. I do believe that there is something to the dolphin autism connection. I have read about it. I also have to be honest and say that Most 'professionals' are of course going to Poo Poo the idea because,1 they do not understand and 2- it is money out of their own pocket. Parents of Autisitic children should be free of ridicule on how to help their children. Esp when they raise money ofr it !
