@razdazczy The groundbreaking for Cincinnati Riverfront Park (CRP) was September 2008. The idea for CRP was originally formulated in 1998 along with the start of a Master Plan. The Master Plan has been drawn up and retuned numerous times as various stakeholders submitted ideas and funding raised to make CRP possible. A key component of CRP is the amount of private funding it has attracted, especially considering Cincinnati's budget woes.
@razdazczy Your dismay is not shared by developers, business leaders, and private donors who continue to contribute to Cincinnati Riverfront Park (CRP) and have a vested interest in its success.
I am impressed with the progress of CRP, its consideration of the community and business input in its Master Plan, and how its completion will positively change the landscape of downtown Cincinnati.
Good lord this is taking forever. Did he say 1998? What a joke.
