I don't think Iraq is the only problem that brought about this financial crisis. It's a systemic problem. The Federal Reserve is mostly to blame for this problem.  It's easy to point the finger and say Republicans caused the crisis but this is not the first time this has happened in the last 100 years. Every President since Wilson has used the Fed to their advantage (the People's disadvantage). We keep spending like crazy and keep printing money to cover it this will happen again and again.
