a tune up consists of: 1. Replacing Air filter element 2. Replacing Spark Plugs(s) 3. change oil 4. Replace Oil filter if equipped 5. Lubricate cables 6. Check battary terminals 7. Replace fuel filter if equipped. 8. Scrape Mower Deck 9. check mower deck spindles 10. Sharpen or Replace blades 11. Level mower deck 12. check tire pressure 13 grease axles and spindles on mower deck

6: degrease everything-engine block-deck-frame-and inside of hood for better cooling also if your tractor has an oil cooler- looks like a mini radiator-clean it

7:i use a belt conditioner on belts buy at a auto center

THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:

1: change the oil

2:change the oil filter( if equiped with one)

3:sharpen and balance blades

4:use an air compressor to blow out the air filter-replace if it is realy dirty or (only on paper filters if oily or gassy)

5: check tires- suprisingly you will get better traction at correct tire pressure

The most important thing of a tune up service is an oil change and sharpening of the blades.... both of these were not mentioned!
