  • The Voices sound real to me every now and then I hear it when I'm meditating or when I'm asleep Out of Body...

  • Hey guys. I'm battling from schizophrenia. I'm not asking for money or views or anything, but just for support and for people to hear me out. My psychiatrist said to let people know about your problem, but everyone thinks I'm weird and my family cannot understand or take me seriously. I made a blog about my problems, and I hope we can talk on there. My blog is battlingschizophrenia.blogspot.com . Fellow schizophrenics, you should also come. We can fight the battle together.

  • Is this guy a Scientologist? I noticed he used Scientology jargon (i.e. enturbulate). And then you factor in the queer, romantic notion that schizophrenia is just an alternate way of perceiving the universe.

  • I DISAGREE!!!!

  • psychologists don't generally beleive in spiritual occurences. NOt all hearing of voices means people are scizophrenic. SOmetimes it is spiritual and we can definitely tune into something and it is often common just after waking up. I have heard messages before that somebody i new was going to take some money from my parents wallet and this has prooved to me that psychology is totally inaccurate.

  • This guy is an arrogant fool

  • Distilled bits of Jung helped me enormously to not waste my time trying to resolve unworkables in our charming collective of humanity.

It must be our general approach of applying irrelevancies to the obvious over and over.

ie., "are you homeless?.. well here, take this prescription drug with you into your Maytag box dwelling (14 degress, here's a ratty blanket).

Humanity: FAILED EXPERIMENT, still FULL OF SHIT..

  • I was raised around some pretty outrageously abusive people putting it mildly.

What gets me is how little people are able to understand or reach any conclusion about these illnesses or how to treat them after hundreds of years.

Those without conscience, our beloved predators produced by natural order dumped those needing protection into the streets in '68.

    Stress exacerbates illness, SURPRISE!

Latest news: 40% of europeans are nuts (ill) Nature or nurture (take a pill, slaves!).

  • THANKS for your efforts to inform people. It has been greatly significant and helpfull in my life.

  • I have drug induced psychosis. I smoked dope for a year then I had a psychotic breakdown where I thought people were watching me and talking about me. I was so out of my head I was not scared I was just paranoid. Then dozens of other hallucinations happened that day that made me think I was Jesus.

  • mkaaay

  • Also, can you have an hallucination where you don't really see, but you can feel it or hear it?

  • @infinitideagames yes you can.

  • Can you be schizophrenic from genetics? Or from bad treatment at a very early age?

  • @infinitideagames yes, its actually very genetics. stuff like bad treatment in youth and child abuse can trigger it indeed

  • @MrUberSpanky Yes, my instinct leans toward how one is 'equipped' to begin with genetically and how that influences brain chemistry via emotional leanings and habit.

Everybody has the latter feature, and some are fortunate to 'visit' intense emotional experience or carry on in life with perspective or philosophical resting places.

I can understand chemical (toxic) inducing of really terrible emotional states (THANKS, PHARMA!) or exposure to toxins handy everywhere.

    But genetics, factor #1.

  • can all forms of schizophrenia be seen on scans? I had a friend who saw ghosts and demons and angels and G-d knows what else most of the time and was even best friends with a few even though one wanted her dead, and said she was jsut experiencing spirituality or pyschic visions based on the fact that her brain looked normal, whcih could have been alie, but still?

  • thank you sir for posting this video!!!can cannabis cause the same symtoms if used constanly for over 5 years straight and smoke all day and night?!!

  • @socalhippie420 Yes it can. There are multiple reports of people having (often) quite severe mental problems due to heavy use, and dependency, on cannabis (note heavy). This can either be due to the cannabis exacerbating already existing conditions or causing them.

  • baby alters can come out front- the you see the images/ sounds and terror of the abuse event- catatonic may be the baby or child paralized with FEAR- see mom dissociation- self rejection-fear of assault like war soldiers- same thing- we see veterans reactions as normal b/c we know his trauma- if you saw a child/babys rape-landed me in hospital at 13 mos old-then you would understand the victims "shellshock/flashbacks" to non verbal times

  • trauma causes adrenal insufficiency -see book-and biochemical-no hope for society as long as teachers continue to replace the grandmothers/mothers -iroquois women -had the protection of children as top value ,purpose and prioritymatriarchy clans

  • Schizophrenia is caused by atrophy of the lateral ventricles of the brain.

  • There is something wrong with our society, and it seems the $1 trillion psychiatric industry seems to love it. The comments about the commercials are dead on. Like the one advertising Abilify as an add-on treatment to depression. If people saw the effect size that add-on treatment has, vs. the rate of dropout & rate of serious side effects, they'd be stunned. Nowhere in the commercial is it mentioned that long-term neuroleptic treatment shrinks the pre-frontal cortex and can cause diabetes.

  • 1 second ago Listen up people, have you ever thought that Schizophrenia is actually supposed to erase dilusion and that our society has deemed it being a bad thing because they don't understand it? Maybe Schizophrenia makes you aware that the Law of Attraction is real and that you believe in something enough it will come to be. Society projects it as being a bad thing so in return people with schizo actually manifest bad thoughs about themselves as well as others.

  • Thank you for the information.Very helpful.

  • LOL looks a little like Jesus!

  • Hi am am a sufferer......well i think that some times you need a higher fuctioning control state as you would need to deal with this.....when you talk to people you need to feel a conection....if you cant fuction on a higher controled state you cant realy deal with this illness properly....i am on 6 mil of reperdal a day.....cant realy tell you how good this med is.....have had some 3rd party prob's.....but its all good.....thanks for posting......thanks for some clarity.....al

  • Wow I have come to the same conclusion as this guy. I decided to become slightly schizophrenic just to see how it works. From what I hear this man is spot on about mostly everything. Man I really like being right.

Now I need to finish writing down my findings and I need to clean house. 1 2 3. done

    I feel very different now.

  • thanks from information ...

  • if we need help with biological medication we need to start taking the toxins and un usefull consumptions away from the public

ie. tobacco. trans fat. mass consumpion of sugar. . in all actuality if people new they were all getting fed shit just to further health technology i think theyd be pissed

  • @threshold79 taking things away from the public doesn't do anything but make the problem worse. you just create a subculture of people that obtain and glorify these things. look at prohibition. it doesnt work. We need to educate the public on what they are putting in their bodies and hope they hear the message.

  • I think it starts out on the right path. I did all those things to become schizophrenic. I ate lead and mercury as a child, had abuse issues thoughout my life. Extreme religousity, He didn't mention talking to oneself. I would say that earlier on it was more enviornmental than biological. I could go for months off of meds. After 10 years if I go a day without meds I start having problems. I am on a low dose though.

  • has anyone of you cut off geodon cold turkey? and what are the side effects?

  • I was wondering if you've had a chance to take a look at the text Anti-Oedipus by Deleuze and Guattari.

  • 1996 diagnosied with scizohprina, over 20 hospital addmissions until 2006 .2007 became meds free. Its now 3yrs without meds. no hospitals, doctors, cpn, living in the comunity fighting mental health discrimination. psychatry destoys lives. bernie owen damaged minds

  • I am a schizohprenic who is now medication free. after 15yrs of doctors playing with my emotions, thoughts, and feelings. and getting noware. It was left to me to help myself and put right the wrongs that psychatry caused me and my family.

3yrs now, no meds, on doctors, no cpns, and living in the comunity challenging the discrimination faced by those who suffer mental illness. bernie damaged minds

  • I have complex post traumatic symptoms and had identity disorders, which I overcame after years of work. I was diagnosed schizophrenic, as well as schizotypal by different doctors who did not understand, or believe my abusive situation. I even had a schizo doctor who was unrecovered and that increased my traumatized symptoms because in his inpatient treatments he was cruel. I did find a doctor who helped, and though I am quite stunted, I am starting to live better than ever. Still fear doctors.

  • they know what is what, they don't know what is what

they just struck, wt the fuck

    lol

  • SHIT its GANDALF MAN!!!!!!!!!!

  • some of the worst episides is where i have though i was dead, whilst being alive

*scary thoughts whilst trying to prevent these thoughts

though mainly it is believing peopel are responding to my thoughts in public, even when they are jus waklin past me

normally i am happy and very socialble

though at times these effects kick in

i jus want to feel i am safe

    do i have schitzophrenia?

    plz reply

  • @daniel8588 thats my thought, maybe im wrong who knows. i just feel i relate to what u typed up so i threw my idea in,..know what im saying

  • i think i got schitophrenia

    reasons why:

i think people around me i dont kno, are talking about me on a particlar subject i feel guilty about, whereas there is no reason to be guilty,

*believing everything is a sign and looking in depth on everything

*believing words mean more then what they do

*walking through shops, public places i start thinking every1 is lookin at me judging me or even talking about me, or my delusional thoughts

  • @daniel8588 im undergoing something like that as i speak ,alot of the same next to your reasons u stated right here.idk if its schitzophrenia but if it is im more aware about me and my surroundings than i was before, maybe its not insanity or a disorder but an INORDER, A more CONCIOUS mind CAPABLE of higher thoughT PROCesses and ideas that seem krazy and scary but are aimed at SURVIVAL and intelligence.

  • This guys awesome, hey dude your awesome

  • ive always had spyhcotic attacks of schizoprhenia since i was young ..i needa noe how to controol it morre than i can... ????????

  • Mr. Garrison grew a beard.

  • i think it's important to distinguish true hallucinations from clearly subjective ones.. what i mean is ones that can be distinguished by the person as either real or in their mind. i experience both types regularly..like hearing voices of people i know then find out they aren't really there sometimes. i never induce them tho. i actually try to ignore them and these things happen when i'm dissociative and feel out of my body so i have no control over my mind or senses. hope that helps someone

  • @jomsvikingur

    wtf is a true hallucination

  • My daughters father was lied to for many years by his family.... re: who his real parents were... he was moved around yet was the 'perfect kid' but only because he told me he always felt like a guest in his own house. He also told me he always knew they (family) were always lying to him.... now the WORLD lies to him and everything is a conspiracy. He's not seen us for 9yrs... Oh, to have HIM back...

  • @Bubz444

well if my mother told me that it would hurt me REAL bad

    there you go trauma

  • argh...

  • Dr. Breeding: Can you discuss organic psychiatry. As I understand, organic psychiatrists look for an underlying medical problem that is preventing the brain from getting what it needs to function properly.

  • @Nu13th u mean like getting ur vitamin b12s or having a tumor on ur head?

wat does this have to do with a perfectly normal person

  • Then there is the "reality" factor......what is reality anyway? what the news tells you, or what you perceive???

It is a desperate battle to OWN YOUR MIND and when you succumb to the psychic overload, you play right into their hands....who are "they"??? Well "THEY" are the folks who want control and submission from you so they can manipulate you into the position they want you in. You have to ask yourself....what did we do with "crazy" people before pills and medications?

  • I would venture to say that MOST psychosis is brought on by childhood abuse and overwhelming emotions they cannot process.... another factor is WORK, WORK, WORK. We are all working ourselves to death, and parents aren't at home raising their kids anymore.....so the man comes up with pills to get us through it. , coz hey....we can't stop working and being termites for the man or we are useless to the colony! meanwhile the news and the media pumps us full of so much tragedy we cannot process it

  • @econoroller Yes, and there are much more subconscious dynamics going on in our society. We are not only being pumped up by tragedy, we are also deeply indoctrinated by the media towards feeling shame about ourselves. They utilize peer pressure techniques. Have you heard the name Richard Berman before? He is one of the market psychologists hired by corporations to slander politicians like Hillary Clinton for example and promote Ron Paul and Barack Obama. He uses the information from focus...

  • @NicolaRedwooddforest Yes I am familiar with Richard Berman......market psychology=diabolical abuse of knowledge of the human psyche!

But then again, we can only blame ourselves if we buy into it. The market psychologist's job is to slip it in without you even noticing it, so we have to keep on our toes, don't we! Personally, I stopped watching the news after the oil spill....it just isn't good for me (or anyone!) it is all stuff we can't change, so why bear the weight of it? it is bombardment!!

  • @econoroller Yes. My husband watches TV all day long. I stopped watching TV a long time ago. But whether I like it or not, I have to listen to the sounds from the living room where the TV is, and most of the stuff is very upsetting to me. The absolute worst are the commercials which are on every 2 minutes or so. I call them cancer commercials. Amazing how they cash in on illness. Only in the USA. The Russians called the USA land of the free and home of the stupid. It's very sad.

  • @NicolaRedwooddforest Look at all the drug commercials!!! I also call the history channel the "Fear channel" re-runs of apocalyptic "What if the sun hit the earth" kinds of shows....they show them constantly.....and with computer graphics it looks so realistic....it has to do something to your psyche, can't possibly be good for you

  • @econoroller Exactly. My husband was just yesterday watching the very Apocalypse "documentary" film you are talking about on National Geographic Channel. It gives me the creeps, because I know what they are doing. You are absolutely right, they are portraying this in such a glorious and romantic form to the public, I don't fall for this type of taste, but most people seem to like it, and then people link up beauty with bible stories. Yikes. They know exactly how to bend and mend.

  • @NicolaRedwooddforest if he promotes ron paul then he is cool in my book.

  • @deceiver123m Which book? The bible?

  • @NicolaRedwooddforest No, i did not write the bible. I wrote my own book, Ron Paul is a good Dude.com

  • @deceiver123m Ron Paul is a fundmentalist Christian who believes that men can dictate to women to carry out babies. He believes that NAFTA and the Clinton trade amendments who give workers higher wages, was not good enough of a deal for the corporations, he wanted the workers to have almost no wages. Ron Paul is against universal health care. I actually read his website when he was running for president. I recommend the same to others.

  • @NicolaRedwooddforest Hmmm... this is true, i have not read his website. According to ron he always said he did not like NAFTA because it was UNfair trade and not free trade. He said it hurts the USA and the Mexican and Canadian workers while further enriching corporations. At least ive always thought that is what Ron Pauls stance was on NAFTA. So thanks for bringing that up, if he supports even more unfair trade then ill have to stop supporting him or reassess my level of support.

  • @NicolaRedwooddforest and as far as universal healthcare, everyone should be against it. If you support helping the poor with healthcare then start a charity and dedicate more of your time for that purpose. Otherwise take your communist healthcare scams to china. Im glad the senate is working on Defunding that atrocity of a fascist corporation-friendly healthcare bill passed with the support of blind "do-good-er's" to slow to understand the threats of communitarianism.

  • @deceiver123m Thank you for acknowledging what I wrote. I really appreciate it. It is critical that all people take the time to read everything they can find on politicians before they make any judgements on their intentions. Thank you for being for justice within the trade agreements. Regarding universal health care there is so much hate propaganda that has been broadcasted by the corporate agenda that almost all people are mislead. Hillary Clinton would have created universal health care.

  • @NicolaRedwooddforest The corporations and in this case the medical supply corporations and the medical industry in general have so much leverage over the media that they completely buy them, they then can tell them what to show and what not to show. The media are highly censored in the USA. This includes talk radio. Where we live, near Oregon, there is not one single station that is not biased by the corporate right. The medical industry is against universal health care because of greed.

  • @econoroller ...groups, Internet, particularly YouTube offers highly informative overviews of trends, and from past and present scientific studies. Richard Berman writes news articles specifically designed to funnel the public into any possible direction just by applying peer pressure, making people afraid to go into other directions like voting for someone who will help the planet, because people are afraid to be labeled a feared word or they are afraid to be rejected by society.

  • @krstcmjns i re-read my comment, and yeah...it tends to wander. The short of it is I believe some mental illness is nurtured by too busy of a life and thrives in an environment bombarded with worries and "what if" situations. Sorry if I lost you :)

  • @econoroller PS thanx for taking the time to read my sort-of ramble...I meant well :)

  • @krstcmjns econroller is actually expressing the common opinion of a psychoanalyst/environmentalist. He is saying that in his opinion the evolution of humans has brought us to a point of consistent work which pushes the brain to a point of psychosis, on top of the analystic theory of psychosis being a sickness caused by past traumas mainly in adolescent years.

  • Comment removed

  • @econoroller I'm guessing you are not schizophrenic

as any schizophrenic knows, the condition and state of schizophrenia is a very spiritual experience, it has nothing to do with abuse, how can people like this comment. Normal people so ignorant, so stupid

  • @SosoKoba did u listen to the video? he sed at the beginning that schizophrenia can be brought on from long periods of abuse. were u listening or too busy writing that comment?

  • @SosoKoba SosoKoba....have you been mixing meds? At least I'm not an insulting JERK (like YOU) to people on here, I was only trying to comment on an insightful video (that you OBVIOUSLY either didn't watch or didn't ABSORB) So I guess what I am saying is if you are having an episode maybe it would be a good idea for you to try getting your meds straight so you are a little LESS HOSTILE to people on here....bye now :)

  • Smart man and wise it seems, not saying he's wise because of the long white beard.

  • lol

  • Sorry,My comments somehow came up in the wrong order. You should have no problem seeing the order.

  • being schozo my self i have two say that seeing ghost and feeling them touch me or watch stuff move of my talbe that has two do with my mind not my sleep i sleep well and i suffer from reading two much book but if the book talk back two you am i dreaming this up or did you did you not just lie two every one watching this

  • Makes one wonder if the nazi's actually won the war considering how spiritually asleep the majority of society is in north america.

  • They have a very low quality of life, but were very active members of society before having a mental breakdown.

I have read that the nazi regime developed alot of these methods as a way to dumb down society as a form of control/enslavemnet.This may not be so far off considering the bush dynasty supported the nazi regime/a.k.a hitler, along with other major oil companies and ford, chrysler, and general motors.

  • I must emphasize (in some cases).I agree with Dr.john breeding that alot of these drugs are doing more harm then good and people suffering from these types of mental illness really do need human intervention in a caring manner rather than these drugs that are leading to more physical and mental problems.I know some people that have been on zyprexa and risperdal and are walking zombies that are sleeping their lives away.

  • Just a note; In the case of myself saying; Whats his? (in a what does he do that's good sort of way) and then turn and say what's with me? and end up saying that I am feeling great (cured??) well to be honest for myself to say that I am going mmm I believe that there must me an amount of buying (or promising to shoot them to the stars) for me to have this thing. p.s not even sure anyone takes thought of this behaivour. e.i church not acknowleging cures to mental illness.

  • I heard a lawyer friends of my farthers talking to my farther (so I could hear) that talking about hurting someone is the lowests form of crime and considered conspiring to murder. Although I suppose I have been told that I see things that aren't there I think sometimes that something is said about my cure and only like this or like that. Maybe this is due to me saying his? and me and saying happy. Although prephaps even having this envloves buying it.

  • Although even the person I talk about that my parent's ask who is this and how did he contact you (email, phone?) and I couldn't answer. I told myself sometimes that this person stopped something and this didn't leave me feeling too good about myself with this. My farther on saying nothing was wrong with me and I was a nasty peice of work left me thinking (as I had many time wondered what I was doing, saying and my steps) that it was at this period before I even thought the person was there.

  • Infact I read that any diagnosis can be changed by parent's and therapist by law. I have been diagnosed schizophrenic and I hate it (having this). It really hurt's. And why my parent's do it I am not sure. I wish I knew. Have the time I think something is said about it my parent's tell me I am imagining they say these thing's. This is not my problem. My mum say's it's because of me talking about people and saying thing's (classical story I guess).

  • Very interesting.

  • what is schizophrenia? Crazy=not knowing when your being made fun of so thats ok=actually that is kind of messed up and not having much fun= I dont know... is it dead?

About this video.. I am not sure about hearing things or seeing things only because you expect to see them.. especially as this expectation does not actually result in someone actually doing it for the person who is expecting this... especially if this "expectation" is considered as a good thing.

  • For as when I first heard of schizophrenia I am sure I dected an amount of vibe in someones voice that made me think I would be it. So anyway once I began to think about what it was and ended up being like- not knowing and thats actually kinda "fire trucked" up- I found myself saying me going "mmmmmmm your great" would fix it. This may have been me returning to my initial fear that it would be me one day that caused me to end up saying this. And I am told I have this not that I am this.

  • what is all this stuff about schizophrenia. People with this problem are called or told they have schizophrenia not that they are schizophrenia. What is schizophrenia? well I assume that someone who is told they have it must have an idea about it and chances are as myself that it is fixed with one word and all the other bs that I came up with a degree of "will you do the same for me when I become this thing" But then again who knows.

  • Schizophrenia is a mental illness that effects the brain, known as a disease. I causes delusions, disorganized thoughts, and hallucinations.

  • Im going to quote Terrence Mckenna here;

"A shaman is someone who swims in the same ocean as the schizophrenic, but the shaman has thousands and thousands of years of sanctioned technique and tradition to draw upon. In a traditional society, if you exhibited schizophrenic tendencies, you are immediately drawn out of the pack and put under the care and tutelage of master shamans. You are told, You are special. Your abilities are very central to the health of our society. You will cure. ...

  • Very interesting thoughts here, Ive never seen schizophrenia explained like this before, it makes more sense as to how it would develop, a much more down to earth explanation. Very interesting...

  • I think it's important for people to work with doctors in extreme situations such as schizophrenia, especially if the ill person becomes dangerous. Sadly, paranoid schizophrenics CAN become quite dangerous without medication.

  • My brother have paranoid schizophrenia since 1989. Sadly, when he quitted taking his medication earlier this year, he said he still has a daughter in someone's else house. He never had a daughter or married anymore. He had a divorce in 1982. He went to someone's house and banged on the door very hard. Then the cops put him in the mental hospital. He is released last month, and now, he's doing okay on Zyprexa but not as good as Clozaril. He couldn't stay on Clozaril. I don't know why. do you?

  • No. I am not a doctor.

  • Well, it is important that people under this condition must be subject for counselling and proper intake of antipsychotic drugs...Family support plays a vital role in this case.....

  • psychosis is merely a result from awakening experiences lost in the depths of a dream state combined with antipsychotic medications revealing only the schizophrenic's life as society wants he or she to exist. Research shows that hallucinations apply to one's dynamic interpretation of reality. Adjusting to the schizophrenic's "society" is quite confusing with guilt and low self esteem leading to the madness of humanity. The extreme state of mind is merely a reflection of the hallucination of god.

  • while experiencing a drug induced psychosis, I described schizophrenia as an emotion.. only if you've felt the way I have could you understand how this could be.

  • yeah man, Lucy did that to me in a way, stupid bitch, haha. I think boomers can too, but its less likely. I just love them to much to admit they are possibly harmful, most likely.

Combine cannabis and boomer when you have a bad mindset an thats how I know how you may have felt.

  • All my hell is here.

  • Comment removed

  • my psychosis started around 16 after taking pimple medication roacutaine, smoking hydroponic marijuana for months while its effects were intensifying, hallucinating and being in a negative high school environment, imagining what others were thinking didn't help and became an audible voice that became constant.. dreaming awake is how i put it. and its obviously chemical.

nlp, john f demartini input.. seroqual and solian daily. fish oil, vitamin c, and exercise all give me a overachievers life :)

  • You become a schizophrenic because you are diagnosed one

  • thing's that aren't there. This is weird because whilst being told that people only want to help you (I) am told that I am seeing things that aren't there.

  • I think when ppl talk about schizoprenia they jump into hallucenations to quickly that they lose some ppl. I think that i may be scitzophrenic but i dont have hallucenations.

  • Sorry, I think my book is racist.

  • I can't seem to sleep every Tuesday...can't shake it...hurts my performance the next day.

  • When a loved one isn't sleeping night after night, knowing that sleep deprivation is going to end in extreme behavior, how do you get the loved one some deep REM sleep?

  • Hercules was allowed to regain his sanity and return to his normal life.

  • heroin....

  • Gandalf, the white!

  • @hammerfinger Nah. He's the professor...

  • FUCK JESUS HE HAS NEVER HELPED ME

  • he loved you so much he died for you and gave you a chance at eternal life.

  • No, he tried to save us from Hell, though he was confused about where and what that is.

  • No, Jesus has given us the chance to go to heaven, he forgave us for all our sins, and what u said makes no sence, he knew exactly what hell is

  • Heaven, hm, where is that? I know!, I know!, and I'm not going... :(

  • It's the top of a mountain. Hell is under the ground, or, in some texts, Africa.

  • nope, and its never too late

  • I want to know what was down south in the ancient world because one of my books speaks very poorly about it.

  • have you ever consisdered you might be wrong and before you say anything i have

if you rely on a some supernatural being to help you when no one else can your gonna find out one day that if there is a god then he's not litesning you can only rely on one person completely tat is yourself please dont take any offense and dont change your beliefs because of what i said

  • if you say you can only rely on one person - and that is yourself - ; ( i completely agree by the way), do you not therefore think that schizophrenia is a way of your body opening up new ways of thinking for yourself to expand your mind - at the beginning, i mean. i feel it becomes an illness when people are told it is and they are given drugs which confuses the thoughts more, and they thus submit themselves to their doctors and give up, believing it is an illness. does that make sense? *shrugs*

  • people who have abused lsd are legit schizo, i myself have flash backs all the time...im no charles manson though. when i look into the cieling i can see a million patterns, when its dark i can see a thousand different vibrant colors, i sometimes hear people say my name(doesnt make me paranoid though..), sometimes i feel like my body is morphing and my organs are moving in my stomach..once i actually thought my lung collapsed and went to the hospital..i've grown to live with it

  • Thanks for posting this videos i now know more abote the "Schizophrenia"

  • So true what the book that he mentions (How to become schizophrenic) says... There is a big deal in wanting to become insane or experiencing the most bizzare and unusual, till you reach that state and become overwhelmed by it. Then the psychotic breakout occurs.

  • Doctor I would invite you to my channel and call to your attention my video of my rather unusual neighbor (titled Disturbed Neighbor). Perhaps you could shed some light on what you think is going on in the apartment next door to me?

  • i've been diagnosed with schizophrenia since around 2002, i've been on zyprexa, risperitone, seroquel and now finally clozapine (for almost 2 years) my question is do i have to take clozapine or any drug for that matter for the rest of my life?? i find it very hard to get up in the mourning, i know its the drug cuz when i miss it by accident i have no problem getting up...anyway my main question is can i ever get off the drugs and just be myself again without any drugs????

  • it's all based on how you communicate with others. if you listen to what they say and also understand what they say, they will listen to what you say and understand what you say.

  • Good stuff! I like how some crazy people ranted on your comment list. You didn't even talk about medications and this guy went off on you. If only we all got the help we need...

  • If I felt I needed help I would be asked to take dangerous addictive medications. If I refused I would be called paranoid & forced to take them

my illness is only slight now

So am I insane not to want dangerous drugs ?

When I was much younger & ill I was put in an asylum against my will - I needed help. But was forced to take drugs, I had no contact at all with any doctor while there

Shouldn't they ask what was wrong then hand out medications?

    What were they?

    Thanks for the help=sheesh

  • hopefully one day theyll come up with anti psychotics and anti depressants which wont make you gain weight or suffer from low testosterone. low test means loss of bone mass, and a decline in menta clarity too.

  • I dont' want to ever be normal. Never. I want to be less "crazy", but never normal.

Once you've been here, you can't be normal. Your heart isn't in it.

  • what does that have to do with my comment though?

  • Thank you! Thank you! Great video, so nice to hear this.

  • great video, I really appreciate you putting these videos up on here.

  • Man, you are so laid back and have such a calming voice. I love these videos.

  • love these videos

  • meditation not medication

  • Your absolutely right. I've been trying to make that point to my local N.H.S with some taking it on board but most too lazy to deviate from what their jobs expect them to do.

  • Don't you confuse a psychosis with schizoprehnia? Anyway if this is true i would almost have become a schizoprehnic (low self esteem and all)! Thank god for my unstable self-image!

  • Please go to Yahoo and type in the phrase "Horrible Truth About Psychiatric Drugs" into their search to find a report that reveals the truth about theee drugs that no psychiatrist will tell you. Also do the search with the phrase "Documented Proof Psychiatric Drugs Shorten Lifespan". Be sure to include the quotes to narrow the search so you find the intended research paper on these drugs/ The drugs promote suicide and violence not prevent, cause impotence, no libido and make you fat disphoric.

  • The experience of birth or rebirth happens during a psychotic episode, it's evident in shamanism, the identity of 'self' falls away with the personal paradigm, it's not an illness, it's natural and ultimately inevitable.

  • I find it devilish that often the one who caused the abuse can purchase from an "expert" an excuse for the results of their evil.

Parent abuses child. Child breaks down. Parent buys a label to distract from what they themselves have done to the child. This happens frequently and is sickening to think about.

  • froobshow.....dude...i whole heartedly agree and it is beyond tragic...this has happened in my own family and its always been ridiculously obvious to me ....i have a brother with the skitzo label and he was abused by his my mother when he was a child....now whenever i ask my mom about him and i wonder why the fuck hes still suffering 20 years later her automatic response is ...ohh its his disease ....shit fucking pissed me off and makes me feel real hatred twoard our society

  • I would be interested to hear what he thinks about Thomas Szasz.

I don't feel the schizophrenic's reality to be any less 'real' than that of our own. All we (people) do is generalize what reality should be by going with the concensus.

I would also recommend people to watch a video by Terence McKenna " Terence McKenna - Schizophrenic or Shamanic?".

  • Nevermind that, I just found a video of his discussing Thomas Szasz!

  • See video, "Psychiatry, Coercion as Cure, Thomas Szasz Book Review"

  • I thought that was a great review of his book. Nicely done.

  • Coercion is not care. Coercion is not a cure.

  • You are right, sleep deprivation is enough to make a sane person appear schizophrenic.

  • i have questions of a commen nature i hope u will address.what are your views on on the inceasing binge drinking in the uk.wich in my opinion is used as an escape more and more these days.i like to analise people and i can see wen this is the case but i hold no addvise or counsaling for these people perticulerly my an old partner of mine who i worry about.i could do with your help on this subject.if you read another of my comments please except i do what i do for knowlige not escape .i am me.

  • DR, three different doctors have evaluated me differently and I had to take about several different medications in all,(for about 3 yrs) and i could not trust any doctor, but after i saw all your videos i came up with a conclusion that i could be hypnotised, or maybe im just thinking that i have anxities thoughts, and disorder. That conclusion has been a cure for me these past few days and its so ridiculously funny to me ..Thank you so much for changing peoples lives

  • Anatomically we have 43 pairs of voices relaying information into our sensory centers constantly. Now, I'd say almost 100% of this information is ignored- simple things such as visceral and somatic temp. to more complex things like depth and distance of our next step, visceral C02 levels or what may happen tomorrow if it rains. I know this is just grazing the surface, but could it be that schizophrenics have given "personalities" to their afferent senses due to the fear of exposing themselves to

  • See my YOuTube video:

    The Real Cure For Schizophrenia

  • Hey roky22, a friend of mine also personally recommended that people may wanna try reading Learning How to Learn by Idries Shah.

  • Let me re-phrase that. Keep your blessings to your self. Maybe people wont diagnose you mentally ill. And one other thing if people call you ugly, stupid or mentally imbalanced just say F@%K off. I cant help it!!!

  • I think that any time yoou say you here a voice your going to be called mentally ill.

  • It sounds like he is saying that someone could develop the ability to hallucinate at will. Could that be an explanation for those who claim to be able to trigger Out of Body experiences in themselves?

  • Stay up for three days without any sleep and you will hallucinate just fine.

  • Well sure. But it does seem as though some folks have inadvertently developed the ability to hallucinate, lucid dreaming while awake, or whatever you wish to call it and mistaken it for some alternate dimension or something.

  • I honestly think the only difference between hallucination and imagination is if the person can tell difference between reality and imagination.

Most people diagnosed with schizophrenics don't actually see wild visual hallucinations.

They may hear voices in their head for instance. Well we all hear voices in our head don't we? The difference is, do you know that voices are imaginary or do you get confused and think they are really someone else talking to you?

  • That could very well be. Have you read Operators and things: The inner life of a schizophrenic?

  • I've been abused when I was 9, but I don't think that's the reason in my case, I like being myself most of the time. It's not that bad.
