I think we can all agree that 9/11 was a terrorist act, and it certainly didn't accomplish a 'small goal', no matter how one may choose to measure. Terrorism is not limited to any specific set of tactics either. But in common usage, the term only applies to 'them' and not 'us'.
We should be able to agree that we have as much right to 'take him out' as the Iranians have to take out Bush. Let's not forget what happened the last time we tried for regime change in Iran.

I don;t consider our fight in Iraq against Iraqis. It is al qaeda and Iran whom we are fighting there. Al qaeda is a group w/o a country. Iraq DID harbor Al qaeda leaders. That gave us enough reason. Saddam has hated us for a long time and has been very patient. After 911, there was a documented event which showed Saddam putting things into highgear for something. What? Any video using Ritter as a source is questionable considering his flip-flopping. the sanctions killed many because Saddam would let inspectors fully inspect Iraq, and Saddam felt that the "Oil For Food" program was meant for him to build more palaces. I have already. Please review the posts here. And w/ those inspectors neither of them were given 100% access. Ritter retired because he was upset that nobody was forcing Saddam to let Ritter do his job. He even advocated war. He screamed WMDs. After receiving a small donation from an anti-american group to make a documentary did his story take the opposite stance. Check out news archives on Ritter from 97-99. You won't even recognize him.

Have you seen the documentary that you speak of? If not, you should learn of what you speak before you speak about it. I have it, and thus can tell you what it is and isn't about. It has a lot of good footage of the UNSCOM inspections and interviews with people from UNSCOM.
With regards to money, you imply that he's bought, but in order for that to be so, he'd have to PROFIT from it, and he did not profit from the documentary.
Sling mud if you wish, but it doesn't negate the facts.

Lots of allegations were made about the oil-for-food program. What matters is the CONCLUSION of the investigation -- NOT allegations.
Ritter was also investigated 3 times by the FBI, and came up clean each time.
Sure he makes money from speeches, but what's wrong with that? Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush make 6 digits per speech.

I've followed the situation in Iraq since UNSCOM was still there. I don't need to read 100+ youtube comments to have an understanding of the topic or why some people resort to mud slinging tactics when they don't like the message.
Ritter was hawkish against Iraq in the 90s, but the weapons in question have a shelf life of 3-5 years. Therefore, explain how they remained a threat in 2003. If you listen to Ritter the way you say you have, you'd understand why he changed his position.
