Nope, not a sticker. It's a waterslide decal. Much more durable. It's the same way Fender applied their decals in the 50's and 60's. They applied the decal over the finish.
that a sweet guitar but dont got the bones for it :(
im actually building one similar to this (as cheap as i can) on warmoth. i was wondering what option you picked to get the string through option & the hardtail bridge??? they dnt answer my calls!!!
wait dude your selling this and gna stick with your telecaster, typical punk player you have no idea, and this guitar has seymour duncans, theyre like one of the best brands of pickups but then again ive seen your covers you dont realy put the tone to its full use or versatility
This is obviously the better guitar between the two. I don't really need a top of the line guitar though. I have this and the tele up for sale so whatever sells first is going to go. Might even sell both, I'm not sure right now. I like trying out new stuff every so often.
Honestly, I think you have no idea what your talking about. Everyone likes different shit. I don't care what you think is good. I have my own opinion and know what I like in guitars. And btw.. You play an epiphone.. haha
haha i play a very playable great condition £490 custom epiphone with emgs and incredibly minor flaWS i also play stratocaster and bc rich, which have served me well on stage at gigs whatever will i do, and i know a lot about guitars and written essays on them and the technology around them i dont really care if some punk says i dont know what im talking about because college degrees and personal experience are going to prove you wrong good luck selling your stuff and playing 3 chord songs
Wait, you mean the epiphone with EMG HZ pickups? Even shittier than the real EMG's? The fact that your in college doesn't mean anything. You sound like a kid from school. He plays metal and thinks he knows everything and doesn't like punk. Do you play a line 6? haha
emg hz are just passive versions of active models so i dont have to use a battery, thats so shit he full tone and great sustaine is terrible for different types of rock music, and i was in college i finished and passed, and nope line 6 arent good live i use vox, wana keep making blind and spiteful acusations that make no sence let alone proove to be true
They are overpriced. If your going to spend that much get something that will sound better and more versatile. 1 pickup guitars are cool in their own little way but not worth the price tag IMO.
ya know, i did the exact same thing your doing, started with punk rock, sold my punk guitars and bought a couple of strats. It got me into blues and jazz and tons of other stuff. Best thing i had ever done. It really opened doors, but really really consider not selling this. If you are going to sell one of your guitars sell your tom delonge.
I'm not into blues and jazz. Too boring for me. haha. But the only reason I'm selling this guitar is because I don't need more than one main guitar. I've been bonding with my tele alot lately. And I might use the cash to invest in other gear and/or a vehicle.
Definatly not selling the Tommy D strat. Mine is like new with the plastic still on the pickguard. Going to be worth more someday
you cant sell this its like your signature! and you can never have to much stuff.....get wall hangers or somethin to save space im tellin ya you will regret it
It's not really a problem with space. It's money. I've been playing my tele more than this guitar lately. Seems to be the newest piece of gear always takes over the rest. I don't think I will regret it too much. It's a great guitar but I just need to move on to try other guitars.
Sorta. I was thinking about getting the exact one- but in red..... Please don't sell it. It's like your signature model- sell your Peavey... I HATE that guitar..
=Harri=
PS- I agree with you totally about the eBay thing........
haha, yeah I don't like the Peavey either. But it was sort of a gift from my uncle. I don't think I could sell my first guitar.
I know this is a special guitar. Still doesn't change my mind though. I would probably be selling it to fund a jazzmaster or jaguar. Maybe even just save it for a vehicle. I'm not sure
I don't think so. Just trying to look for a buyer without going through all of the bidding. People on eBay usually think they can buy everything dirt cheap so I don't think I would have much luck selling on there. Are you interested?
I really like this guitar but I want to try something different. Probably something with P90's or single coils to experiment with. If there is anyone looking for a great guitar at a great price this is definatly it.
thats a shame ur selling this guitar, it's a really great guitar. you should reconsider this before you feel the guilt and regret. from one guitar player with many guitars to another, plz reconsider. I'd love to get my hands on it, but i dont quite have that kinda money now. oh and really great job on the guitar. i can really see you put so much work into it.
Thanks man. It's a great guitar. Amazing quality. Better than any Fender I've played thats for sure. I will probably regret selling it.. But I will probably buy a Fender Jazzmaster or Jaguar sometime in the future to try out something a little different. I'd like to try out the single coils and tremolo.
I suppose so, well just give some thought into it first. I mean sure you can create another but for someone to get a hold of ur "baby" seems like a very crazy idea, yea i love some of the jazzmasters more then the jaguar. except for a Jaguar HH. i think i dont like single coils cause guitars i've had or tried with single coils didnt give me the bang i needed. what i kinda hate about jaguar and jazzmaster cause of the tail piece. it just stands outu kno? like if it cracked down the middle.
can you tell me what options you chose to build the body?

I bought a replica waterslide decal and applied it to the headstock. Looks legit

They come on epiphones for a reason.. They're just cheaper than the real deal. Atleast you don't play a line 6..
fender101punk 2 years ago
THEREs more to them than that theyre better for bends or guitars with wammy bars because of the bars inside them rather than pole pieces
