  • HI MR WHEATCROFT

  • Just amazing ... I have been one of the fortunate ones to have heard and seen Hariprasad Chaurasiya ji playing live ! :)

  • (...Is he playing this thing backwards?...)

  • @billmcb

What do you mean 'backwards'? What according to you would be the correct way?

  • so jelous i wanna play on a wooden flute i have a metal one

  • it make me soooooo (sorry i cudnot find a word to describe my feelings)......

  • Really Nice one.....

  • This is great. However it does sounds very similar to A night in Lenasia by Deepak Ram.

  • @micahboddy

deepak ram is the disciple of chaurasia

  • q maravilla

  • Excuse me, his bansuri is in which note? A, E,F, G, D?

  • se llama BANSURI

  • go listen to sinister minister by the flektones thats the worlds best flute player

  • by far not in the same league as this.

  • @lotiq i know gay to music

  • Very beautiful, much more fluid sounding than our western flutes, I like it. Looks like 6 holes plus blow hole, is there a hole on the bottom I wonder, and is the top end of Bansuri closed like our flutes I wonder.

This is my first time I ever saw what it was that made that fantastic sound; thought it was a string instrument when I heard it in an Indian restaurant, like a sarangi.

Thanks for a great music video, and thank God for YouTube, the best thing on computer. Lol

  • @trumpsahead Also please listen to Praveen Godkhindi

  • hypnotic ! and so very very fine.....

  • Sri HariPrasad Chaurasiya is really a Flute Maestro....Hats-Off to such a great master of Bansuri.

  • Disculpen, ¿alguien sabe el nombre de ésta flauta?

excuse me, some one knows the name of this flute?

Muchas gracias y saludos desde Colombia.

  • I can visualise sitting on a stone by the side of a waterfall in a jungle full of trees, birds and animals. This music certainly has a calming effect

  • @2icebaked what's the difference!!!!!!!? Haha

  • @giriisindahouse LOL,I like you.
