as Angelique...maybe not. Lara Parker pulled it off for several reasons, one of which was the deceptively innocent looking face that contrasted the character's true nature.

Seems to me that Victoria has been mis cast too, maybe Eva and Bella should swap roles?

(and really hoping that one day, some Dark Shadow's revival or this film, will finally answer for once and for all, if Elizabeth really was Vicki's mother)

I'd c the movie but I wish it was somebody else playing the Angelique and Willy Loomis parts. Eva's got dark hair and I'm not too sure about her acting. Haven't seen any movies with her in it. And as for Jackie, he's too old to b playing Willy Loomis. It just wouldn't look right, an old man acting like a young 20 something yr old.

The more I read about Depp's Dark Shadows, the more it disappoints me. Jackie Earle Haley as Wiilie? Willie is in his 20's!! Kinda the local screw-up, but still a sympathetic character. Eva Green as Angelique? Ms Green is quite beautiful, but she looks nothing like the original Angelique (see Amanda Seifreid). And who is playing Maggie Evans? Is that a big secret, or are they going to do the same lame thing they did with the 1990's show & have Victoria Winters be the Josette look-a-like?

I hate that they're making this film when Disney know that Universal has 'Wicked' in the Pipeline. I don't know anything about the script for 'Oz...' but you've just gotta look at 'Wicked's' world wide success as a play to see it will probably be a huge movie. Ah well I will probably see both but I think I'm too attached to Gregory Maguire's story to like 'Oz - The Great and Powerful'.

Alyson Hannigan as Winters would be unexpected but interesting and potentially crowd-pleasing. She's got innocence, fame in the genre, and is cute but not so drop-dead gorgeous that she takes attention away from Angelique or Josette. In fact, they could cameo Sarah, as a passing victim with a sense of humor. Depp could make a crack, 'you SLAY me, miss', before he bites her.

Haley? I like him in certain roles, but Loomis was never that sleezy-looking.
