You morons don't even know how to read engine codes jdm engines carry no number after the last letter. Usdm type r reads b18c5 Usdm gsr reads b18c1. Where as both of the jdm versions only read b18c and you have to know the rest of the code to identify the proper engine.

hey did you have to change your mounts when your swaped to the b18c#? they made a b18c1,3,4,5,6,7 teh c1 is a gsr and c5 is american type r but i think as for the slow pick up maybe you should show what gear your in cause from what i can see your in 4th and shift to 5th and your doing about well 240km/h + so yea i think its a great pick up
does sound like a D series engine u cant even hear the VTEC when u go into high revs my car sol is onli b16a stock and u can clearly hear the VTEC at 4500rpm, so this aint no type R engine

Okay, i'll try to answer every ones questions once again.
The red thing is a shift light. It did not go off because it was set to 10k rpms. The car was on a mild tune which is why I was shifting at 9k rpms.
It was just that day that I had my foot on the clutch pedal, anticipating the shift. lol

hey did you have to change your mounts when your swaped to the b18c#? they made a b18c1,3,4,5,6,7 teh c1 is a gsr and c5 is american type r but i think as for the slow pick up maybe you should show what gear your in cause from what i can see your in 4th and shift to 5th and your doing about well 240km/h + so yea i think its a great pick up
