I applied for admission to that Air Force Academy, but I was denied admission. Something about not needing pilots who are nearly blind and dyslexic. I had hoped to major in Harmonic Convergence, and minor in Yoga. The Rocky Mountains seemed an excellent place to find my Oneness with the Universe. I was shocked to discover the total lack of Cosmic Awareness at the USAF Academy. These people have no hope of ever achieving True Communion with Mother Earth.
WOW I wanted some motivation to why should I choose the Marines, and THIS is the gayest thing I have seen. Future Marine here! OORAH! You future "airmen" should just watch the trailer for Ears Open Eyeballs Click and realize how easy you will have it!
@cangriman0101 i can't believe that you are so ignorant that you would post a comment like that. The Air Force Academy creates leaders. Just like the Naval Academy does and just like West Point does. How long will it take you to realize we're working together when bullets are whizzing past our heads? How dare you comment on this and think that because Marines are the first to fight means that they are the ones that win battles all by them selves!
@mslattery5 Hey, don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with you guys being "soft", someone has to do the thinking while we do the fighting, but at the end of the day we all fight for the same country!
@cangriman0101 yo stupid, all of the branches fight for the same cause this is so not the easy way out, the air force academy is one of 5 service academy's, all of which are extremely hard to get into and extremely difficult to survive, there is no "easy way out" this is actually a lot harder than enlisting, so if you want a real challenge and still be a marine the i suggest you try going to USMMA, or the Spec Ops, i suggest BUD'S , or are you just too chicken? also dont call USAFA gay
@cangriman0101 keep trolling man, you havent put on a uniform yet. you havent fought or sacrificed yet. when you do then feel free to speak upon this matter but i doubt you'll wanna talk shit about a sister service then. Go EARN IT before you speak about how "soft" we are. dirtbag wannabe.
@manfromuranus sir with all due respect this has been my dream to fly for the air force since I was 6, and I will continue to pursue my dream until it is a reality. I dont believe this is 'an easy way out' I think its is the more difficult and challenging way out and my goal is to overcome the challenge and achieve the dream

Iam joing the army but this video really made me give more appreciation to the air force . I just hope every one will stop on day aty seeing wat branch is better. they just all do different things
Does anyone know when this comes out? I'm dying to go there so I'm border-line obsessed over the Academy right now and I'd love to see this. (I hope it isn't already out because I've had no luck finding it)
I like the first picture of the video, showing the Air Force Academy Chapel in the sunrise. I would love to visit and see the academy one day. If you ever have a chance, US Military Academy at West Point is a very beautiful site as well.
@739Rangekid It's not as difficult. Academy BCT is 6 weeks long compared to the military's usual 9-12 weeks. You will spend 2 1/2 weeks on "The Hill", and then you'll march to "Jack's Valley" for more training and spend 2 1/2 weeks there. I want to go to the USAFA extremely bad. Im just worried about my record with everything. Im a sophmore in high school this year im taking 2 AP courses and 3 Honors classes. So far im recieveing grades between an 80-95 in all these clases im worried thats not good enough. I also play 4 sports Soccer, lacrosse, cross country, track and field. I also do cheerleading im running for class president and have 20 hours of community service so far. that is just the jist of my record any advice? thanks!!
@jessyusaf your record sounds fine. if you are varsity or captain of any of those sports that would just add to the list. get as many leadership positions as you can (clubs, sports, outside services). just be an all around student is what they want. and if you get in, the hard courses will better prepare you for the Academy academics. I had friends though that took regular courses in HS and they did fine at the academy too. some just had a harder time adjusting to the curriculum. goodluck!
if you go here all i can say is have fun getting brainwashed and living off a shitty government salary. trust me, this placeis straight garbage. i went to the summer seminar and they're tryin to get kids to go die for them. i decided to not be a dumbass and go t UCLA instead. still in college and already have a bently and im a beginning record producer. te military sucks a dick its a scam. if you do it you'll regret it
@GrayfoxTKD ok I'd rather be weak and rich livin' in LA than be an "honorable" dumbass puppet like you, making enough money to barely scrape by in life
@oMaG1CX I am in AFROTC as a freshman. I have thousands in my bank from language pay and stipends AND they paid my tuition. After i graduate, I am going to go to graduate school for FREE. Most freshmen are dirt poor, and they have to sacrifice a lot. I couldnt be financially better off.
@oMaG1CX hahahahaha you are retarded. Im going to be an officer in the air force working on base in the united states with computers and satellites. So i will be financially well off because I have no debt coming out of college and I will have a solid job for at least four years. During those four years I can find my next career. Have fun sitting in an office doing something hella boring your whole life then dying having never done anything worth anyone remembering.
@oMaG1CX i absolutely agree that the military doesnt provide the million dollar salary people like look for. however, who ever said money is what drives others to protect those around them. sure they may get bombed or not be filthy rich, but theyll live a life of fullfilment and be able to say the died by applying their knowlage and skills to an idea that most americans would appreciate. i sure plan on applying here, and serving with pride. im not to say are wrong or anything, i just dissagree
@ustopgun1 get involved in sports, itll do you good in many many ways, and they dont look for the sports just for fitness. get good grades (join NHS if possible), try doing volunteer work as well. keep fit, make a workout and stick to it.
hey. i just finished 9th grade and ive been planning on going to this school for a while. i have a 4.125 GPA, take as many honors and AP classes as possible, im class president, i run in track and field, and i try to participate in community service but havent really been on top of that. is their any advice anyone can give to a hopefull highschool kid? could only doing one sport criple my chances of acceptance or is there a better way to exemplify leadership?
@archangelreborn If your high school has JROTC of any branch, I would strongly look into that. I did AFJROTC for 3 years, and if a senator looks at your application letter and that is included then he will see the want to serve already. If not, then after-school community service hours are a must indeed. I would focus on academics more-so than sports if possible. Sports help, but academics are key when it comes to this situation. I admire your will to serve, and hope you are accepted.
@archangelreborn for some one with a high GPA, your pretty stupid to think that doing one sport would cripple your opportunity to make it to the academy. Your application looks fine, don't worry about it.
If i had done thought more about my future in highschool the military academy would have been one of my top choices. I had no idea what i wanted to do back then, i hope these kids understand how blessed they are to have this type of opportunity and cherish it.
@lonesoldier96 get involved in youth military organizations like Sea Cadets or Young Marines. Score super high on your SAT and start writing your congressmen a letter to appoint you to the academy. Since you're going into the ninth grade, get involved in sports and work your way up to varsity level, run for class office, and volunteer. thehoaxbuster is right, it's so much more than GPA, but a good GPA makes you have a better chance.
i am in 8th grade and i want to go here really badly when im older. i am going to study very hard and get a 4.0 and play all my sports and gain acceptance to my favorite college in the world.
It's SO much more than your GPA. That's important, and they'll love your determination. If you can establish yourself as a leader and somebody who is dedicated and passionate for something worthwhile, you are much more likely to gain an appointment. If you're involved in Boy Scouts, get your Eagle or DON'T bother mentioning that you were involved in it. They'd want to see that you committed to it and finished it with your strong resolve. Good luck, great to see your interest!
@lonesoldier96 same here! i'm going to be a freshman this year and i'm attending my school's AFJROTC programs for all four years... however, i don't know any of my state's senators/ represenatives...
@lonesoldier96 to help you get there i recommend Civil Air Patrol as one of the activieties. those guys get in easy'r than others, it really helps when it comes to getting- also take the summer simmenar before senior year....80% of those who go get in. thats my bit of advice ;]
@sandercohen1 Are you just slow or are you just dimwitted? You get a $400,000 education, paid to go there, and a job afterward? I guess I can just tell you I'll have combo #5 with fries cause that's where you work!
make sure to volunteer, join CAP and be very well rounded. also get books like The Air Force Academy how to prepare/get in/ and survive, learn everything there is to know about the academy and what i-day and BCT will be like, get in the best physical shape you can and that will help you out alot for your first few months there
Aceboy143, the Air Force Academy has a good academic program, but also consider the commitment to the military and the future educational opportunities. If you haven't heard about AFIT, look it up and realize that many AFA graduates attend AFIT which is the Air Force graduate school. If you are looking at an engineering program or at computers, the AFA offers good programs. I would be glad to share my information with you.
@lonesoldier96 Bro. There are people out there with 4.5 gpa's and play sports and are in numerous other activities and they still dont get in. You're never gonna make it you stupid fuckin failure. HAHAHAHA!!! fuck you niggger bitch.
@aceboy143 lol. you know you cant get better than a 4.0 right? you stupid bitch. get a life. they already sent me letters without me contacting them saying they want me to apply.
@lonesoldier96 just saying... u can get higher than 4.0 by taking honors and i believe AP classes. Thats what im doing. I was at a 4.125. U should definately take classes such as those, couldn't hurt right. So if ur a freshman now and im a sophomore, i look foward to seein u at the acadamy cause i'm really tryin to get there as well.
@lonesoldier96 Ok fucktard. You obviously don't know your facts so let me tell u something... When u grow a pair and get into junior and senior year u take AP classes. a B in an AP class is the same as an A in a College Prep class. So you can get over a 4.0. You=Fuckin retarded. Congrats for making yourself look stupid. And also I'm not going to the Air Force academy so i could give a fuck about it. So if u do get in great. later skater.
@aceboy143 Getting into the Academy is not only based on grades. What else did you do or are doing? CAP, JROTC, NHS, SC, etc. How is your PT? Do you just sit there like a schmuck or do you go out and do community service; volunteer? P.S. The most challenging classes you can take in your freshmen and sophomore year are honors-this coming from someone who took those classes that were the most difficult.
@aceboy143 I am also taking the hardest classes possible for freshmen. do not be jealous that you are not smart enough to get in. its ok though you can go to a shitty college and suck dick for a living so its ok.
All of these basic military and ROTC/Academy videos are excellent---very useful information for young people as to what standards are to be expected of them should they volunteer for military service. These videos will probably insure a higher success rate and savings to the taxpayer. Thank you very much! I appreciate it!
Yeah! I think it's right! War ist the new Religion of the United States of America. And this dudes are the new priests of War! The have to give up all their best Signs of their Characters to be a Killer for the US Air Force! Poor Humans!
You have no idea what its like, you get out there, your on the side of a mountain, your tired its hot but you keep moving on. your brothers/ sisters surround you and your in a brother hood. its either civilians in trouble or there is someone who wants to kill your people you get over the fact. its complicated to say, we are all volunteers, brothers who will gladly sacrifice are, time, efforts, or even lives in some cases for you im a cadet in civil air patrol, i help my country
This is really encouraging for me. This is the kind of hell I want to go through. I know in the end it's what will make me a better and stronger individual.
are you a veteran of the united states air force academy??? if so, i honor you. My name is Conner Gadberry and i would love if you could give me the best advice of your abilities to higher my chances into making it into the academy, i am a freshman now and this is where i need to start to become and make it into the academy Please reply back and help me as much as you can i would appreciate it and maybe one day if i do make i could invite you to my graduation and be able to salute you with honor
Not sure I'd want to do this myself, but this looks like it'll give the real flavor of what the cadets go through. In fact, I'm pretty sure I would not want to do this myself!
i emailed the director, john husband, like in january and he told me 6 months to a year and i would get an email when it was closer to being done but i havnt heard anything. if u go to the wings of honor website u can get his contact info and he'll respond to an email within like a day. or he did for me anyways.
When does this come out? (:

Since you're going into the ninth grade, get involved in sports and work your way up to varsity level, run for class office, and volunteer. thehoaxbuster is right, it's so much more than GPA, but a good GPA makes you have a better chance.

i am in 8th grade and i want to go here really badly when im older. i am going to study very hard and get a 4.0 and play all my sports and gain acceptance to my favorite college in the world.

@lonesoldier96

@lonesoldier96 Make sure you do extra curricular activities such as community service, do research on the academy, and never give up! :)

I guess I can just tell you I'll have combo #5 with fries cause that's where you work!
maverick3825 11 months ago
@maverick3825 no, actually that will be you after you drop out of the academy because you're a pussy. haha.

@lonesoldier96
make sure to volunteer, join CAP and be very well rounded. also get books like The Air Force Academy how to prepare/get in/ and survive, learn everything there is to know about the academy and what i-day and BCT will be like, get in the best physical shape you can and that will help you out alot for your first few months there

@lonesoldier96 Don't get your hopes up kid. That's what i said in 8th grade. Cause once reality hits u in high school all your plans will go to shit.
aceboy143 10 months ago
@aceboy143 well ive gotten a 4.0 every quarter this year while playing year round sports so yeah. i think i can keep my hopes up.
lonesoldier96 10 months ago
Aceboy143, the Air Force Academy has a good academic program, but also consider the commitment to the military and the future educational opportunities. If you haven't heard about AFIT, look it up and realize that many AFA graduates attend AFIT which is the Air Force graduate school. If you are looking at an engineering program or at computers, the AFA offers good programs. I would be glad to share my information with you.
khman1983 10 months ago
@lonesoldier96 Bro. There are people out there with 4.5 gpa's and play sports and are in numerous other activities and they still dont get in. You're never gonna make it you stupid fuckin failure. HAHAHAHA!!! fuck you niggger bitch.
aceboy143 10 months ago

lonesoldier96 10 months ago
@lonesoldier96 just saying... u can get higher than 4.0 by taking honors and i believe AP classes. Thats what im doing. I was at a 4.125. U should definately take classes such as those, couldn't hurt right. So if ur a freshman now and im a sophomore, i look foward to seein u at the acadamy cause i'm really tryin to get there as well.
angelboundforheaven 10 months ago
@lonesoldier96 Hey, keep your attitude right. Don't let anybody discourage you. We'll get there together. :DDD
gohman123 10 months ago
@lonesoldier96 Ok fucktard. You obviously don't know your facts so let me tell u something... When u grow a pair and get into junior and senior year u take AP classes. a B in an AP class is the same as an A in a College Prep class. So you can get over a 4.0. You=Fuckin retarded. Congrats for making yourself look stupid. And also I'm not going to the Air Force academy so i could give a fuck about it. So if u do get in great. later skater.
aceboy143 10 months ago
@aceboy143 I've been taking APs since sophomore year... fucktard.
mickjagger64 10 months ago
@mickjagger64 Wow congrats man. Took you a month to work on that.
aceboy143 10 months ago
@aceboy143 Getting into the Academy is not only based on grades. What else did you do or are doing? CAP, JROTC, NHS, SC, etc. How is your PT? Do you just sit there like a schmuck or do you go out and do community service; volunteer? P.S. The most challenging classes you can take in your freshmen and sophomore year are honors-this coming from someone who took those classes that were the most difficult.

All of these basic military and ROTC/Academy videos are excellent---very useful information for young people as to what standards are to be expected of them should they volunteer for military service. These videos will probably insure a higher success rate and savings to the taxpayer. Thank you very much! I appreciate it!

Not sure I'd want to do this myself, but this looks like it'll give the real flavor of what the cadets go through. In fact, I'm pretty sure I would not want to do this myself!
