Thank you for your service its much appreciated. I live in Canada but I am half American I appreciate all you and colleagues do. This wills certainly a new experience for all of the players playing overseas without the NBA. If Kobe actually ends up going over there it will certainly provide some added entertainment for our troops.

Although I still believe the NBA while there global initiatives are noteworthy their first priority should be strengthening the game from a domestic standpoint, here at home.

I wouldn’t mind the NBA playing some preseason games overseas. David stern is always talking about making the NBA more of a global brand and generating interest in the product. It would sort of be similar to the NFL’S version of their game in London every year. Playing regular season games across the pond could be explored on a preliminary basis if exhibition games go well.

@dupree82 Personally, to tell you’ the truth I don’t think that Kobe is going to accept any offer overseas until as Chris Broussard said in the video until after a final decision is made on the NBA regular season, and whether or not it will start on time. I wouldn’t take these overseas offers if I was Kobe just simply because I don’t think it would be a wise investment on his part.

@dupree82 . However, if the season is delayed for any length of time, then the offer to play overseas may be more appealing to him because of his previous connection to Italy as a child through his dad.
