if you cant get the swarm announcements for the chanseys, there are some in the safari zone. set the area custom thing on the meadow, put down 12 plain type blocks.

I recommend that you bring a level 42 or 41 pokemon, put it at the front, and then use repels to avoid encountering raticates.

they are pretty hard to catch though and cause you cant send out pokemon, you cant use thief or compound eyes, so you should try this if you cant get the swarm announcement

This is my version to get a Luvdisc with Heart Scale in Black/White

You will need;

A Gothita/Gothorita/Gothitelle with Frisk.

A Joltik/Galvantula with CompoundEyes

All 8 Badges + having beaten Ghetsis

A Super Rod

Now follow this video, but fishing for Luvdisc. When you get one, use the goth pokemon to check if it has a heart scale or not

@RayquazaIsEpic Interesting idea, except the Joltik/Galvantula with CompoundEyes isn't really needed, unless you are REALLY unlucky. Luvdisc has a 50% chance of holding a Heart Scale. Primape was there for using Covet (Thief would work too) to steal the Lucky Egg from Chansey without actually catching it.

@MrAidanzzz You don't NEED Stantler, but I highly recommend it, unless you want to waste time capturing Chansey that do not hold a Lucky Egg. There are only three Pokémon with the Frisk Ability in Gen. IV: Stantler, Shuppet, and Banette. They can be interchanged as long as they have the Frisk Ability.

If you got away safely and beat the Chansey like that, you get the lucky egg and take it from the pokemon, so it'll be easier to hatch.

u can also use the move knock-off to check if the what the pokemon is holding but this way is also a great way

and lucky egg increases exp gained by 50% or so they say

caught 8 chanseys after they swarmed 4 me before i got the lucky egg

Don´t worry, you can do it.

You just need a Stantler from Rt.36 with frisk and another pokemon with thief.

Try to have a fainted pokemon with compoundeyes at the top of your party to increase chances of finding it as well.

I found it in 15 minutes!!! REALLY!!!

Does Chansey only swarm in Heart Gold? I have Soul Silver, and I've been changing the time on my DS to 11:59 so that when it turns to 0:00 it announces a new swarm pokemon. I figured I would just keep doing this over and over until It became Chansey, but after probably 4 hours of doing this I've encountered every swarm pokemon on the list multiple times but never Chansey.
