Actually, you don't do that on an open beer. Same principal on Ice with salt, submerge a little deeper. (Why would you only want one to cool)?? wouldn't it be better you have at least 6-pack to make cold instantly all at once?

Not really sure why people are mad about this. It works. Better if you submerge it the whole bottle, though.
And it's Fahrenheit, not Celsius. In Celsius the beer went from 26 degrees to 10 degrees.
