A great Newfoundlander, a great musician has passed. These guys were as talented as it gets. We will play your music Sim and keep your tradition alive. Rest in peace buddy.
This song was my Dad's favorite. He was naturally talented with his feet and ability to play any instrument he wished to play. He entertained many through his lifetime and the depth at which this song touched him was absolutely amazing. It brought out the best in him, and he loved what he was able to do. RIP Bernie Byrne
This song reminds me of my mom. She always said after family the best and most important thing was music and friends. She loves this song and so do I.
When I lived in Toronto along with many of my friends from Nfld in the 70s and 80s, this was one of our favourite songs to sing and play at our many kitchen parties, (right Roger!!>?) It is without a doubt the best song that captures the essence of music and friends for sure, especially for Newfoundlanders!
Love it ! No one can compare to the sound of SIMANI....The songs just seem to have more meaning when sung by Nfld's favourite pair. Sim is the absolute best accordion player who fills in all the background so nicely. I would give my right hand to be able to play like Sim...but then of course I wouldn't be able to play. So I will continue to watch their videos and listen to their cd's
Brings back so many memories. These two guys were fantastic at reaching into the hearts and souls of Newfies.

An All time favourite. Dozens have tried, but none can compare or duplicate the magic that Sim and Bud created together.
