You have to change all strings. Since there's 3 strings for each key, you have to change a total of 264 strings!!! O.O

A piano key strikes either one, two, or three strings based on the pitch of the note - lower notes have less strings because they have more natural resonance. If you break a string, you can just replace it, though it takes some work - it's not hard to change a guitar string at all. As a matter of fact, maintenance on a guitar is seemingly nothing compared to maintenance on a piano :)
