But you shouldn't jerk around so much while recording the video, move the mouse slowly so it looks natural. I found that it makes for a much more enjoyable video. =D

I try to get to a spot where I don't have to move, so I can just stand still and watch it all happen! =D

@marlena7271026 Q6600 @ 2.4 ghz, GTX 280 1gb vram, 4 GB of DDR2 RAM, Windows 7 x64. I'm able to run Crysis at a playable framerate on highest settings, but that isn't needed for recording at a constant framerate of 30 using this trick.

It doesn't look like you'd be able to run it on highest settings smoothly.

Here's one entry from their specs:

GTX 280 Texture Fill Rate (billion/sec): 48.2

GTx 480M Texture Fill Rate (billion/sec): 18.7

Doesn't look like the 480M was built for playing high-end games smoothly

I run it with 16x AF and edge aa(no need for anything more) I also have a tweaked config file to get things looking even better + a graphics mod. And it runs at around 30fps.

btw 2 gtx 295s could run this no problem at 16x aa on a skulltrail or x58 board.

The fact that you are using 9600gt's.

The geforce 9s are just relabled geforce 8s Your card will perform just like an 8600 gt. while the 8800 gts 640 will perform like almost as well as a 9800 gtx. But will be outperformed by the 9800 gtx abbit due to the older chips in the first gen 8800s.

And you don't get what you pay for. You get a system built horribly buy somone chained to the floor in china. I have yet to see any computer from a company like that have properly seated heatsinks for example. You also get cheap hardware that will probably fail.

BTW Is there a temp probe in your chipset? I have seen a huge amount of acer laptops fail due to poor tim jobs on the chipsets.

BTW i thought i would mention that i just opened a new issue of cpu mag and on the 4th page there they were saying acer is doing a huge recall on there preditor systems. "due to short-circuiting and overheating" just though i should mention that...

Yeah, I luckily heard about the temp issues before I bought mine. They fixed that problem in the new realease: Predator 2 (the 1 I have)

Like i said before 9600gt's are similar to 8600 gt's. Any 8800 or 9800 card will outperform them greatly. If you want to max crysis look at a single 4890 xt or a single gtx 260 or better. Never invest in more than 1 card at a time, always get a single high end card and get a second when you need the extra gpu power.
