Chinese challenge to 'out of Africa' theory November 2009 by Phil McKenna
The discovery of an early human fossil in southern China may challenge the commonly held idea that modern humans originated out of Africa.
Jin Changzhu and colleagues of the Institute of Vertebrate Palaeontology and Palaeoanthropology in Beijing, announced to Chinese media last week that they have uncovered a 110,000-year-old putative Homo sapiens jawbone from a cave in southern China's Guangxi province.
@MichaelKrary - I think you are missing the point. There were two waves out of Africa. The first wave created the Neanderthal. The second wave created modern humans. There are still ancient looking Africans in Asia/Pacific (Andaman Islanders, Negritos of the Philippines, Solomon Islanders, etc.). The fact of these ancient tribes support completely what Spence Wells is discussing.
Racist ignorant people will never except theses DNA proven facts but they'll believe it if a DNA paternity test comes back positive or negative, if any of u racist people have more proof than DNA evidence then stop talking and bring it on lol!!
@CizzarGX - The original Africans look more like the San/Bushman people of South Africa, not Arabs. Arabs are a mixed race of people. What kind of fantasy are you living in?

That's why genetics always bring things back to the roots...tight curly hair is dominate over straight hair, dark skin over light skin. The area of Arabia is like the area of Central Asia. It is a place where different people came and met and mated because it was a link between different groups of people.

Both haplogroup C and haplogroup D have the M168 mutation, and haplogroup D also shares the unique-event YAP mutation with the African haplogroup E.
