Very nice move. I've been working that escape for about a month by bridging and walking my legs around to their side control. But that reverse D'arce is I never saw from that position. Thanks for sharing!
wow.. i always learn so much from 10th planet and sub101 videos haha. i love how you guys keep everything simple and practical. keep it up! and many thanks for the great info.
bjj is neat by what does everyone doing it have to have a crazy haircut and tattoos or a badass attitude. kinda almost wish it never got popular for those reasons.
@10thPlanetRochester i'm puttin your shit on blast! no confidentiality. didn't you read the fine print? now remove your tattoos so you can get a respectable job!
@jf1gd2 Your comments are really fucking stupid..You sound like a total fag..."Oh no why do they have to have tattoos and bad attitudes"....OMG!!! What a fucking pussy..real talk...
A lot of ppl ask wher I trained jiu jitsu when i go to a new gym n a lot of ppl kinda dnt believe me when i tell them that i learned most of wut i use from youtube n submissions101. If only they knew how great the online 10th planet vids r. =)
ya i try this and end up in north south a lot. They just either put a hand between my legs and stop me from shrimping or put a cmount wrestler kind of hold then pressure then north south again
Hey Zog I tried this move last night but the guy just sat in scarf and another time he moved to north south and my right arm was trapped. Could you give me any advice?
the guy on top appears to be using a pretty loose gable grip, it looks like a sweet move but when i swing, whoevers on top seems to be able to retain head and arm control and i dont have that space to slide thru, is this because i'm not turning into them enough?
he literally lifts up to let you escape. This would be a hard move in sub grappling and near impossible in gi against someone who has good side control
Did you even watch the video? the first thing I do is lift my hips to create space.
And I've used it for years gi and no-gi, never had a problem. I don't always go to D'arce. Alot of times I go right to sprawl control. I'll add more versions of it soon.
while doing dis transcition u hav to be quick or your opponent can go north south easily

thats great and all, but I doubt that someone would let go of head control that easily. Does this work for that at all?

can you leave your arm on the close side of his face so that when you do the escape you are already in the darce choke?
