Never has been, hopefully never will. The US, since it was founded, has been a constitutional republic. That is like calling a Ford, a Chevy. As for a democratic government, they never work successfully. If we had a democracy right now, majority rules, and bankers would be killed. Luckily we have a republic, and a rule of law that prohibits that and guarantees a fair trial.

They may not vote for Obama, have low voter turnout or vote for Cain cause race is very important to some people.
