  • Disgusting. I've had 3 pets in my life, all rescued.

  • As christmas approaches there will be more of this going on over and over again. It is a vicious circle thats never ending. It's a multi million dollar business that means big bucks in people's pocket at the expense of unknowing people who buy their animals this way. I think educating is the best way to try and reduce the puppy farms and strays/ abandoned animals.Stop debating and educate yourself, your families & friends to be aware of the issues at hand including other issues that matter.

  • No one seems to talk about the real problems people are facing in society. That is the large number of backyard breeders not desexing their dogs. Many allow their dogs to breed and they palm of the dogs to friends and on it goes. A large number cannot afford to desex their dogs. The councils yes need to be much much stricter and many of these bad types of farms shouldn't be allowed. Most pet shops have laws and regulations to follow to. Vet checked and authorised etc.

  • They need to monitor the good registered qualified breeding farms. Many of them have strict regulations they have to follow and obeyed. I could do another video and show a different side, which make people feel much happier, only they try and present a bad side to help their causes. Yes there are some pretty bad ones but stopping petshops from selling pups is wrong. They aren't the ones that end up in the shelters. They need better controlling and stopping backyard breeders.

  • Why do the RSPCA approve the good puppy farms, yet make it look like they are all bad ?? People have to have the impulse there, to be dog lovers in the first place. The reason why so many are in the shelters, are from backyard breeders not getting dogs desexed. Those in poverty not desexing dogs, then ending up with pregnant dogs and then palming them off on their friends. Those in poverty usually go for the staffy bull terrier mixes and they are the ones often ending up in the pounds.

  • I feel happy for the lady how stopped doing it after 10 years I want to stop the farms

  • i hate puppy farms its sad what those poor dogs go thru

  • @DARKMAMAS That Lisa worker doesn't even look like the type that would like puppies and raise one.

  • @chavrons1 they need to ban puppy farms

  • Banksia farms is hardly a good place...They should be shut down.

  • Comment removed

  • Banksia Park should NEVER be considered ethical - shame on 7.30 Report for implying such!

  • @nupthatisit Too many people like to brainwash the masses thats mostly the problem.

  • Sooooo not only are the dogs involved in breeding leading a horrible "life", the puppys that they produce prevent perfectly good dogs in animal shelters from getting a home? Thats a punch in the face followed by a kick in the balls. It sickens me when people buy from breeders or shops. In fact, it's these shops and breeders that cause most of the issues with shelters. People want the cute puppy, but neglect dogs when they're grown up. Pathetic.

  • @Gr33nDayPwn I disagree. Society isn't tackling the real problem. It's not the dogs in the good petshops that you are finding in the pounds. Most of the dogs found in the shelters are the mixed breed staffies and bull terrier type dogs often coming from those in poverty as its those they seem to choose. They don't get their dogs desexed and allow them to breed, then palm them off onto friends. Those in poverty are unable to look after their dogs and they don't get them vaccinated.

  • @Gr33nDayPwn Thousands of puppies sold in petshops are raised in very loving homes. Unfortunately the bad always get's far more media attention. Would you ever find a video, of all the puppies bought from shops and then show them growing up and well loved in many family homes. The answer would be no. People would prefer dogs sitting on people's laps in their lounge rooms.

  • At least the Australian RSPCA are doing somthing and busting these evil places. Here in the UK they are doing nothing at all . I must say the second puppy farm is far superior to a lot of the UK and Ireland farms. At least this Auzzzy guy dogs look clean , happy , healthy , in a clean , airy pen with space and light. IIf puppy farms have to exsist then they should be following this guys lead. Here in the UK the corrupt councils licence "farms" that are 100X worse than anything in this vid

  • @funkytomo77 australias puppy farms are much worse than what you saw on this show

  • @funkytomo77 A lot of the Puppy Farms are RSPCA approved. Yet unfortunately many of them are lied about.

  • Cool! Short and very interesting!

  • I am delighted I!

  • And STILL idiots buy their puppies and kittens from pet shops...

  • Thanks for putting that up - I missed it and am glad I can watch it now!

  • thanks for taping this so very important to see this — an awful side to the pet industry thank goodness for RSPCA and shelters
