I used to help build wrestling rings, and while WWE's ring now at days has some give to it.....the indy scenes and old school rings do not! its Plywood amung other things and theres speakers under the ring for added effect. also, the ropes are metal cables with rubber coating. Just taking a body slam or running the ropes Hurts! i find your lack of knowledge on the "Sport" of Pro wrestling ignorant at best!
