@maty18671867 the standard tuning is GCEA with the G being the top string, also the G is tuned higher than the C (as in: abCdEfGAbc) and ofcourse this can be transposed up and down to fit your needs, also also, google loves all kinds of questions such as: how long is the chinese wall? who invented the @ character? why are people from northwestern europe more tolorant to lactose than others? I hope you now can uke your socks off, I know I will
Hi -This is a very helpful and easily understood video. I also am working on an ebook to help beginning Ukulele stars. Great to see so many folks getting into music and Ukulele playing - maybe world peace thru Ukulele playing is just around the corner. Happy Uke-ing Sims

Thanks so much for uploading these im starting uke lessons from a friend in a couple of days but theyve given me an awesome headstart God bless you ! :D
This is great, thanks. Can you explain that last chord progression? How many times on each chord? I would have loved to watch you play it a few more times. Great video. Just got my first Uke!
thanks so much for these videos, i got a uke for my birthday and I had no idea where to start. This is actually helping me -julia (not digitalshaman, this is my bfs account)
I have the same uke as you! different colour but i am having a problem with the intonation! It is terrible! You must have the same problem! how do you get over the tuning difference as you play further up the neck? or have I picked a dud uke?
@moleman1961 Yeah It's not a great uke, but it's ok for just having fun. After a while the intonation does get better as the strings relax, but when you go up the neck it does go flat so just the only cure is to try to be a little bit sharp.
Thank you very much for these videos! I'm only on day one of learning the ukelele and lesson 2. These vids are helping me out so much getting started. They would be a little nicer if you could get rid of the background noise though.
@SystematicRap Thabk you very much, I've only done three so far but another one is on the way. I'm sorry about the background noise I hope to get a better microphone to sort that out.

Hello, I liked your lesson, found it quite helpful.
I want to pick a ukulele and start playing, however, I have really no idea, what types of ukuleles there are or what brands, I'm a total beginer.
I just like the sound of it and want to learn how to play it.
Would you be so kind as to suggest me a brand or any specific ukulele? Thank you in advance.
