is he actually cutting the glass of the bulb to get the bottom plug thing off? i tried that with an x-acto knife and it shattered..

no lol hes pulling the metal part on it back so it becomes loose so he can pull it out

r u sure? i just tried it and the glass goes all the way to the bottom. not like the video shows of it ending at the metal.
