Both are amazing. Got into MCR when I heard I'm Not Okay, got into LP when I heard Last Train Home. Not the most original story I know. Seen LP three times, MCR never. Three Cheers blew my mind when I first heard it, Start Something took a few listens to get into.

I can't choose here. I love My Chemical Romance but Lostprophets are what got me into alternative rock. I used to go by the opinion that anything my brother listened to was rubbish (because a lot of it was). Then he put some Lostprophets songs on a tape for the car... so even though I probably listen to My Chemical Romance more, I have a sort of loyalty towards Lostprophets. Without them I'd never have given My Chemical Romance a chance (I admit with head hung). But they both rock.

my chemical romance were good but now they're plain gay... I mean, I like TBP but Gerard has gotten so cocky and I hate their updates on their official page. I want details on their new cd but nothing... they just go on and off on how they've evolved and how great they are now. bull shit... they were good to start with... why the change?

maybe the number one thing I hate about the black parade times is gerards voice. when performing live, his voice squeeks up like hell. and like in desolation row, his voice sounds pitched up. not a big fan of his voice now but desolation row is still a good cover.

in my last comment I said now they were plain gay, but I only meant that about their appearance and how they're like so cocky now.

but I don't think they will release anything bad. mediocre, yes, but not bad. good band overall NOW.

but I must also add, that I absolutely love the b sides to the black parade. kill all your friends, heaven help us, and my way home are 5 star songs. g's voice is lighter pitched still but the delivery I guess, is much better.

IDK if you've heard the 3 new songs they played at the roxy or whatever but those arent that great of songs. catchy but only good 4 like 20 listens. this is where my disappointment lies. the black parade was a change, but not a total let down cause it was still alright.
