  • if god had an ipod this song would be on it

  • listening to this, especially the beautiful acoustic guitar at the very end, makes me feel a wave of beautiful emotion inside me that i've never felt before.. it's the reason i love Circa Survive so much. whenever i listen to them, i get this wave of endorphin's through my body, telling me that somehow, finally, i'm understood.

  • lalalala

  • theres no gift without a price

  • i love this version, alota emotion.

  • The lyrics are awesome for sure !

  • its all good...just enjoy the music assholes

  • this version shits all over great golden baby

  • EPIC. The amp buzz in the beginning is all i need for legitamacy. The album version doesnt have half the feel for me. This is so airy and open. Amazing.

  • Juturna>The Great Golden Bab, hands down

  • @FroRadio youre absolutely right!!! Juturna sounds so much more like, raw and natural..less studio edited

no joke, if heaven had a sound it would be Juturna (in my heaven anyway) haha

  • The Great Golden Baby is sooooo much better. This version is amazing also, but it just doesn't touch the great golden baby. No song does for that matter lol

  • @WhiteBoyMVs this one's better to me, longer breakdown

  • melancholic but touching i dont know what its about but i cant tell whatever it is its deep

  • my favorite Circa Survive song they've ever made

  • This song makes everything alright again...

  • I listen to this song EVERY NIGHT perfect song to knock out to

    I love Circa Survive <3

  • so is the great golden baby also called juturna??

  • This song can never get old.

  • I have been completely in love with this song for the longest time now

  • is that the ring girl?

  • @redrabbitreviews

Juturna is the Roman goddess of fountains, wells and springs. It was taken as the album title to symbolize a new beginning for the band members.

  • @GennisXtra Smart son of a bitch. :P

  • This version is so much better than The Great Golden Baby, I'm not sure why they didn't keep it. /:

  • @TheChexer1231 i agree this version is way smoother and a tad bit more atmospheric

  • 11 People have never been to Juturna.

  • @sh3lbot

that makes no sense at all...juturna isn't a place? you're thinking of jupiter broski

  • I want to marry the lead singer. No joke.

  • GUYS STFU! Listen to the song,it doesn't matter what its called! its still amazing! & always will be!

  • @M3lzRoxSugaPLum nice youtube name. very, doo doo mama-ish.

  • @brid00d LOL wth? either way thats actually kinda funny :P

& not sure where i got it from :L.

  • @brid00d it's not my fault you guys are dumbasses.

  • @xaubskeet there is more than one version of the great golden baby, and this is one of them. so who's the dumb ass now :D

  • pretty sureeee this song is called the great golden baby. nice try, dumbasses.

  • @xaubskeet shut up

  • Music that makes me sway along, Circa Survive I Love You

  • i just cant get enough of circa survive (:

  • fucking good ass song!!

  • Okay let me get this straight for everyone's sake, Circa made 2 demo and 1 final product for this song. At first it was called 'This Changes Everything'. Then they did a redo and it was called 'Juturna' which is the song you are currently tuning to right now. There is a slightly difference between This Changes Everything and Juturna so then Circa decided to do another redo and the song title changed into The Great Golden Baby and that is their Final Album Recording Product.

  • @IskandarSams You can Check and try differentiate between all these 3 song. TGE and Juturna you will hear only a slight changes while if you compare them with TGGBaby, you will be able to see the difference.

I already uploaded The Great Golden Baby in 08 when I uploaded this, So try check it out alright? thanks everyone, keep on supporting Anthony and Circa Survive!

  • @IskandarSams You're wrong, Juturna is the final product. "The Great Golden Baby" is from the Inuit Sessions EP which was produced before the album Juturna.

  • @IskandarSams actually, it was the GGB then this changes everything, then the song you're listening to right now

  • @IskandarSams i love fellow Circa fans who know their sheeet.

  • It's always nice to have the name of a song's album available, but the TITLE of the song would have been nice. "The Great Golden Baby" for those who'd like to know. If you don't believe me, you can look up the lyrics of both; you'll find that there is no song called Juturna, just an album.

  • Whoa guys, this song is called The Great Golden Baby, stop saying Juturna is a song when it is an Album, this is just an alternative version

  • Juturna is not only the best fucking album Circa has ever done, its also the best song!

there is just so much meaning and emotion behind this song.

No other band has ever touched me the way this one has, its unreal.

  • i wish they still made this kind of music... makes me really sad

  • This song got me through gruesome nights in the hospital. Helped me stay alive for the ones I love and that love me. On repeat all night. Much love anthony. Stay off people who talk shit.

  • I used to think The great golden baby was better than this.....It is not

  • @ManBroShip Howso?

  • Wow, this is a great version of this song. Holy crap!

  • is this some sort of special version? because the one i have sounds different and i like this even more!

  • Great song always gives me goosebumps ^.^

  • At @ 3:30 My favorite part. I feel like i just want to float in the middle of an ocean. Just floating there with the sun shinneing down on me. All the bullshit in life can just soak away..out of me. An escape.

  • Comment removed

  • when 3:30 kicks in...so awesome, jumps back into the flow.so nice

  • 3:58 gives me chills...

  • why does Anthony Green make multiple versions of songs? It's confusing, haha. Which album is this off of cause I thought The Great Golden Baby was on Juturna.

  • @answersInNemesis the great golden baby is from an ep they did called 'The Inuit Sessions'

  • @joshbuckleysmelly okay thanks (:

  • Did I really just hear something this amazing?

    Fuck yeah I did

  • Usually I don't comment on likes and dislikes because it's done too much, but I honestly don't see how ANYONE could dislike this song. One of the most powerful songs ever written in this genre of music; with beautiful lyrics to go with it. And I mean, come on - 3:58 - 4:30.

  • <3 <3 <3 2:05 <3 <3 <3

  • Comment removed

  • I love the beat and the way they sound, but I can not understand a word they say. I am deaf in one year, and it is all like one big blah of sound. beautiful I am sure if I had a clue, but I don't, then when I read the lyrics, it goes over my head. I am sure it is great. I am trying to get it.

  • @monkeyboo2u There's really not much to get for most of the songs on this album lol. The lyrics are nonsense, and it's really just a beautiful organized noise. It just sounds good.

Their second album, On Letting Go however, is extremely deep for the most part and they're much more unified as a band sound wise.

  • @monkeyboo2u I'm like that with Green Day !!

  • this song changed my whole way of thinking...

  • I love the guitar that starts at 2:20

  • This changes everything....

  • This song makes me want to move somewhere I've never been before...

  • ugh i cant explain this feeling but its a whole nother level of pureness and just total seclusion paradise

  • the best. i got lost in my own self when i hear this during my green herb session. haha

  • @theytookmycrown same here!

  • circa survive..for me , is my time-machine to another dimension

  • you're all dirty little pot smokers...

  • circa. fucking. survives.

    oh yeah.

  • I have all of circa survives songs. I never get tired of any of them. -3

  • @stevenholloway2135 dude what are you talking about they are amazing live

  • This song never gets old. Too bad they suck live...

  • @stevenholloway2135 yea i went to there most recent here in the UK and i was a little disappointed with most of the later set. it was still an amazing experience! but anothony's vocals were very screechy, and not in the way we know and love him for. still a circa fan for life.

  • @stevenholloway2135 their recordings are just too good

  • I never get tired of this song.

  • WHY DIDN'T THEY KEEP THE DUAL VOCALS?! It sounds so perfect!!

  • Damn I love this song even though high piched voices isnt really wat i like they have a style that gets to you.

  • everytime im drunk ii click on this song. simply perfect

  • @xxxlpchris05 same here when i'm high haha

  • wait this song isnt on the jutrana album is it/ or at least not the one itunes has up..

  • @emohitlist This is a demo version of the song The Great Golden Baby. It's not on the Juturna album.

  • So fucking beautiful.

  • anus? haha really

  • I need to have this version...I will pay any amount of money for it

so much more emotion than the album version, and that's saying something.

the piano at the end...my god

  • :D not gonna lie, this song caused me to gasp in admiration

  • doesnt youtube know this is circa survive? why is there a dislike button?

  • you know I gotta admit, from seeing them twice in the past year I still think this album is their best work. I dig on letting go and blue sky noise dont get me wrong, but this is a powerful album that can blow your mind all over again each time you listen to it..it never gets old considering its already been out for 6 years. shit..

  • my most favorite song, then and now...

  • sorry i accidentally posted that so much, my computer never showed it as being posted...

  • hey i just found them.. do they have any songs with screamed vocals? just wondering. if not idc. they are pretty good

  • sure reminds me of justin bieber. WTF.

  • I was led by a string to Secret and Whisper and then of course to Saosin..and Circa Survive. This is by far my favorite song by Circa Survive. Anthony Green is definitely impressive.

  • soo ive been thinking while listening to this song. and in my personal opinion, i belive that the song talks about being buried alive...idk, its just what my psychological mind said. lol....im not under the influence, although its time to be.

  • The song is actually Anthony Green talking to his former band Saosin and why he left. Listen again now.

  • This changes everything. <3

  • what the hell is this??? i love this version!!! peace love and hapiness

  • No offense to anyone, but he does have an ambiguous voice. really really like this band, just found them today, but it's true, that it's hard to tell somewhat.

  • @CallMeKills it adds to the intrigue imo. uniqueness makes for beautiful music

  • Why the hell are people comparing this band to all these unrelating bands like Coheed and the Deftones???? Circa is their own creation! Long live Anthony Green!

  • Good bad, but never better then Deftones!!

  • When I listen to this song a wave of emotion overflows the rim of my mental cup, such pure bliss yet anxiety expressed through this magnificent array of musical instruments. Painstakingly eating away at the walls built around me by many detained memories of my childhood, wrenching at my will and shooting a needle into the arm of a self proclaimed heroin connoisseur. Slicing a freshly sharpened blade over the neck of a new born child. Such pure beauty yet disgust runs through my anus.

  • @booAHHHH God your comments are poetically disturbing. Impressive.

  • @booAHHHH whats with the anus part?

  • @booAHHHH You are a faggot?

  • @booAHHHH So basically your anus is reminded of when your dad used to anally pleasure you?

  • @booAHHHH I really hope that was a typo. I REALLY HOPE.

  • @booAHHHH lol, I get the same feelings from a lot of their songs. I was explaining it to my doc today; its beauty, ugliness, pain, pleasure, happiness, sadness, loss, gain, depression, mania, dark, bright all at the same time. An ocean fills my brain, swirling and every molecule of H20 is a different emotion, memory and future hope.

  • @booAHHHH

    Concinnity.

  • @booAHHHH

LMAO putrid yet pure haha you are hilarious

  • @booAHHHH you had me to the anus part. I suffer from anxiety and circa survive while doens't help me it certainly encapsulates what anxiety feels like. Occasionally the track breaks like those gaps in my day where I'm not pulling my fingers kicking myself of shouting for no reason.

  • @booAHHHH cool story bro

  • @booAHHHH Slicing a freshly sharpened blade over the neck of a new born child? you must be fucking retarded. It has becomes quite obvious that you can look into a dictionary and pretend like you can assimilate the English language. I can look up big words too and pretend to know how to use them, but wait I actually do. Futhermore the magnificent array of "Musical Instruments" you speak of is in most bands that are common place. This is me disregarding the talent of this group

  • @MetallicSon lol, The youtube comments on circa survives music videos aren't the place to show how intelligent you THINK you've become. Anthony even sung, "Every way you'll wonder if you're wrong, you are".

You don't THINK you're wrong, Yet. When you've listened to his music for 4 years since saosin, You tend to hit it the first fucking year kid, Nobody wants, or cares to hear your nonsense, This is for your future. SHUT THE FUCK UP, Because you're proving nothing to the world.

  • Comment removed

  • @ItDawnedUponUs Try saying that to the failure he's commenting on. Just read it for fucks sake, it's garbage. Youtube is also not a good place to correct people without even realizing their implications first. If you don't pay attention, don't open your mouth.

Defending such a nonsensical jumble of statements makes you look like an idiot.

MetallicSon wasn't the one talking nonsense, compare what he said to what he was commenting on.

  • @VeggyZ lmao, okay you little smart ass. lol. Anyone ever call you a smart ass? Theres a reason for it. not attitude, the way you act. Look at all those words that are completely unnecessary, Course I would then be called a small brained such and such because you are oooo sooo smart, am I correct? lol I bet you have no religion either. You dont know shit little kid. Anthony even says you'll become okay with all the things you didn't know. Makin it your job to think ALLLL DAY. lmao

  • @ItDawnedUponUs I don't make any boasts that I'm a genius or anything close to one. But I'm smart enough to point out cheesy randomly strung together words for what they are, cheesy and randomly placed. This isn't about 'knowing' anything, and it's not about religion or anything else you mentioned.

It's about a lack of creative writing ability. It's not that hard to pick up a thesaurus and find good words to use, you'd think he'd at least have done that. But then, it would have made sense

  • @VeggyZ but you still had two add your two damn cents like you know something. so shut up. lmfao

  • @ItDawnedUponUs Yeah, I did. I gave my two cents because I'm smart ENOUGH to back up my opinions. What about you? 'lmfao'

His mockery made me sick, so I commented on it. Because it's shit.

Doesn't belong in the comments to such a wonderful song =D

  • @MetallicSon

    Shut the fuck up.

  • @MetallicSon I'm so glad I found someone in the comments who can recognize trash for trash. (in regards to your reply, not Circa Survive)

  • @booAHHHH you, my sir, are a mental genius.

  • @booAHHHH You sure have a lot of Thumbs up for that mockery. There's more to poetry/lyrics/creative writing than stringing together a bunch of semi-large words with little to no context. I love Circa Survive, so don't get me wrong ;-)

I hope I'm not the only one who thinks that jumble of shallow metaphors was a vain attempt at sentimentality and profound meaning.

Of course, if you use enough nonsense people won't understand, but will pretend they do so they don't feel stupid.

    Haha.

  • @booAHHHH You sure do have a lot of thumbs up for a comment about eating buildings, stabbing people with needles, and cutting babies. I am also very confused about that anus part.

  • @booAHHHH are you a poet? :D

  • @booAHHHH

Sounds like a Mad Lib! XD

  • Ahhh, goosebumps. <33

  • circa survive makes my pee pee tingle

  • 10 kids dont know how to dress to impress! x[

  • perfect song to listen to when you're high

  • this song takes me into another world

  • I love the slight echoing of the vocals. The bassier instrumentation of the edited version can't replace that. And the interlude around 2 minutes will be missed. In general this version seems a lot more diverse and seems to better capture the vocal harmonies than the edit. Both are great beyond belief though : - )

  • the song playing are the great golden baby and why does it sound so different than the real version? and why is this called juturna thats the albums name?

  • Comment removed

  • @chauncy424 Because Juturna is the real original version and The Great Golden Baby is the edited one...iguess they just decided to name the song like the album..But if you notice this version is a little softer and there's no base or watever playin at the beginning.

  • cause that was the orignal name of the song ,

    this is the orginal version

idk why they changed it tho,

    but i love both :)

  • lo fi circa is where its at

  • For some reason, I'm attracted more to this version of the song more than the final version. Some of Anthony's vocal harmonies are so beautiful, specifically "Oh, now that I know..." The drums are a little sloppier but Colin, Brendan, and Nick are geniuses. It's just too good for my ears. MAH BRAIN WILL SOON EXPLODE!!!

  • my name is anthony [:

  • This kinda reminds me of Saosin which is a good thing

  • @Paranoiastrikes635 Anthony Green was Saosin's vocalist for a while, that's probably why.

  • @Harpuia7 ya but i didnt know that until now

  • @Paranoiastrikes635 Yah, like Seven Years 'n stuff.

  • the beginning sounds better than the album version

  • 3:05 - 325

    so tight.

  • @danny401913 i think the minute or so leading up to is just pure bliss

    2:05 - 3:00

  • It took me awhile to figure out the voice wsn't actually edited. That's his real voice.. DANG! Way to make me think the voice was faked. Go Circa Survive! FTW! :D

  • @APIC4PINY4L3G lol seriously

  • my favirite song

i thing is one of the best

  • In my opinion i like this version better than the Great Golden Baby, it sounds more real and less edited

  • @zackrack2

Duuuude, you can hear where the voice is multitracked over, haha

Idc tho, this is my all time favorite band, it sounds great both ways

That brings me back to when he sang for saosin, lol

And I never realized sleepers was the same as I wanna hear another fast song

I won't ever have another band I love as much as them, and not to mention anthony green solo

And AG and Good Old War together, haha

  • @zackrack2 Indeed. This is my all time favorite song from Circa Survive. It's also the first song I listened to from this band.

  • @ultratwinkle, Juturna was just a demo verison of the Great Golden Baby, the great golden baby is the offical song they released though.

  • god. circa survive is just too good... love wakin up to this song

  • @azumangaX I'm fairly sure that this is an early version of the song, like a low quality demo, although in my opinion, it is far superior. My question is, this is clearly not the Great Golden Baby from Juturna, is it from the Inuit Sessions, or was this unreleased ever?

  • *Sights* Diz song iz like haviin GREAT morning sexx :D Lol
