This is my favorite racing track of them all its because: I know this track very good and top it all when i'll got challenge for this track everybody seems to lose always (but not mean you all watchers) because i don't know about you all but HERE nobody seems to be match for me but this is great game track and music track :)

The only thing that can hit me in that game are the cloak and that weird orb thing that acts like the blue shell from Mario kart. Character Kart games is a GENRE. Every character Kart racer will be exactly the same, from Disney, to the Muppets, to Crash, to Sonic to Mario....ALL OF THEM.

The boosting mechanic is what separated this game from the others though. MK tried to emulate what they did in this game boosting-wise. I've never had more OMGEESH DIT ALMOST HIT MEH *Continues contiguous boosting* moments than in this game.

Well crash has gone the way of spyro, 3 or 4 big hits then the original developer knows that they cannot do any more with the franchise. But someone comes along, pics it up and ruins it. Crash Bash and Twinsanity were the 2 good games developed by other companies (fell free to let me know yours). Then they redesigned him and made the game have combat. All crash needs is his trusty spin and a good development team to lead him back into glory (naughtydog!)

Well I have done my homework and travelerstales crash game (Twinsanity) was the closest to the original source whilst keeping the essential crash essence. Because of time being short they had to cut allot of things out from twinsanity, for example a level called Gone a bit Coco. They were originally going to create a whole different game with free roaming and a darker feel. Plus Universal took them off the crash clash racing project and handed the rains to radical entertainment who made CTTR.

You made an awesome point, Single Trac did do that when the Twisted Metal series went crappy so why not have some of the old designers of the Crash Bandicoot series with some new people who wanted Crash to be his old self like some fans of the series.
