Is anyone smart here? I'm so confused with all these terms...First there is yaoi, coming from words * no climax,no fun* (or something; fan version *my ass hurts* ),and it's basically just sex. But the japanese dont use that word anymore? Then, there is shounen-ai (boys love) but it actually was a genre in the past meaning high level boy love manga. eh? and, BL=*boys love*,the one japs use? and the mysterious one,tanbi...(wtf) which meant the same as...BL ?Im going insane. Yeah, BL or shonen-ai is more to romance with plot, and Yaoi is basically porn with so plot. A lot of people tend to get them mixed up. Sometimes I get annoyed by over-enthusiastic fans that mix them up a lot too.

Gakuen Heaven is labeled as a Yaoi dating-sim game.

@albuorkka Hm Yaoi means BoyXBoy love (just means gay relationship. Has no real rating.) Hard Yaoi is sex. Shounen-ai is no sex, just light fluffy boy love. I've never heard of Tanbi. So basically, all the terms are just variations of Yaoi, rating yaoi between like Sex and no sex etc. Hope this helps.

@Biddity Yeah, I've kinda figured the terms but thanks anyway (: I have come to the conclusion that Westerns use Yaoi no matter how "intimate" the boys' relationship is and japs use always BL, again, disregarding the age restrictions.

Lo 1o... hay que llamar a los personajes por su nombre ¿no?

El "chico" se llama Keita y efectivamente su pareja es Kazuki (su amigo de la infancia) que es con quien se queda en el anime.

Aqui es donde viene tu confusion supongo pues hay un manga alternativo donde Keita es pareja de Niwa (el Rey), aclarandote que no es ese el manga original de la historia.

Tambien existe otro donde Keita es pareja del amigo del Rey...(Hideaki mi amor *///*)pero eso es otra historia.
