@SkywarnStormChaser Sorry To say but with this incident your actually wrong. In most cases they do shut off for a bit and then shut off then come back on. However seconds before I started recording my mom called telling me to take shelter and the sirens weren't even going. Just as I was walking outside to start recording the came on and only were on just for a few seconds, after they went off the sirens never came on again. You will see most of that in the discription.
it's good that the Loons were in Lansing playing the Lugnuts and that they didn't have to evacuate the Dow Diamond :D

I live in Midland, MI and I remember this storm. The sirens didn't go off until a few minutes before the warning expired.

the sirens don't go off that fast, what they do is stop to recharge and then fire up again. Many people have learned this the hard way.
