The muscle structure of everyone is different, thus some people have big gaps and some don't. You can make your inner pecs more define, but there isn't much of a solution to closing that gap.

@ellsibob37 In every exercise, you breathe out when you contract the muscle(s). That's the point where you're working against the resistance and/or gravity, in this case, when you push up. The point where you come down, you're going with gravity and the muscle lengthens, that's when you breathe in.

how do you get middle pecs? i have pecs on the right boob and left boob but theres like a space inbetween the two, are you supposed to do flyes for that?

No lol. Cable crossovers and dumbbell flys will help build your inner chest. A push up will not.

What is shown in this video won't work. It's just one muscle (the pectoralis maior) and you can't move one of its sides independently of the other.
