wow, '69 i was 23yrs old driving a '68 cougar w/my girl jamming to black moses on my 8 trk & smoking pure colombian buds. what a good time & good music
I remember Robbie Vincent playing this on Radio 1 (UK) in the mid eighties. I stopped the car to listen and Robbie followed it with the words "now there's one not oft heard"... it's amazing how a piece of music can make one moment in your life last forever!
If you are still out there Robbie - I miss your Sunday night shows to this day. Still got the fridge open!!!!
when u hear music of this caliber u know theres a god, dishing out gifts, setting precedent, and we the people who grew up in the company of these great artists, and soulful music were certainly blessed, spoiled even. thank u god for Issac. ("but what is the gift, without hard work") thank you Issac for the hard work!
Marcus Garvey day a couple years back... me and my boy giving Jah Africa a ride back his yard after dubbin all night at the warehouse... seeing everybody posted up every block under the blue light cameras doing the damn thing with this track on late night/early morning morgan state 88.9. some shit you just never forget
