not a sample. re-cut done by Jackie Edwards for Bunny Lee in '74-'75. there are loads and loads of "Barber" variations of this track, it was a popular theme at the time, kind of like the many "Drifter" cuts from around the same time period. you could have probably played an entire night at a dance with just "Barber" and "Drifter" rhythms.

the original John Holt "Ali Baba" was finally given it's own dub mix about this time, too - original (1969) did not have one.
