Yes you can, not all people are the same. You do floss milk teeth, just like adult teeth- thats why its call cleaning teeth- floss cleans the places that a toothbrush can't reach. They were getting examined and cleaning the teeth before a closer examination equals better results.

@5w33t200 OF COURSE you take young kids to the dentist for a cleaning. It's to get them used to actually going to the dentist! This way, when they're older, going there is not a problem anymore. Flossing is the same: floss young, and they get the habit. When you're older and have children, you'll understand. I hope you have no cavities, dear.

@magickelise i've never had a cavity or a filling, my younger sister has had cleanings and a filling and she only got her teeth cleaned becuase they were horrible, most english dentists only do cleanings if the teeth are already horrible
