This video is incorrect. Emptying your hard drive only renames your files so your computer doesn't normally access it. Special programs can look at your so-called empty space, which is really full of trashed stuff, only renamed. CCcleaner has an option to overwrite your free space. Then use software that can read your free space to check if everything is clean. This works for those e-mails from your mistress as well as porn.

open your command prompt and type in

well, if you are going to be looking at porn, i suggest using the Firefox web browser rather than internet explorer. you reduce your chances of getting a virus, and all you have to do is go to Tools->clear private data, and you can safely delete your history, cookies, cache, etc all at once.

Also, deleting files deletes the pointer to the file on disk, but the file can still be recovered using sophisticated recovery software. Use a file shredder to permanently delete files.
