Im sorry, but what has the origin of her education got to do with any this? surley her argument is valid however her education was given. And surley the larger picture here is that it is every humans RIGHT to be educated and as she is pointing out to source the food of their choice, not a gift bestowed by whichever corrupt power is in place, foreign or otherwise.

India like the rest of the globe has always had a "distorted economy" ..an unquestioned exploitation by the Raj of the peasants and associated caste rules. Vandana needs to acknowledge her gratitude to the British self-interested colonialists for her English schooling
