It's a shame that so many people only know this song from software promotion. It just goes to show that so many people are content to be force fed the tripe on the radio. Edie Brickell is an amazing talent. That was apparent when "What I am" was released. But, her style is dated. That's not to say it's bad. It just has stuck to a time when people played and sang what they feel instead of trying to sound like the latest thing.

i first saw this on my 1994

digital starion 920. win95, 75mhz intell, 16meg ram, 4x cdrom, 14400bps modem, 1.2 gig hard drive. back then I though it would be impossible to fill a 1.2 gig hard drive. lol the biggest game i ran on it was Stonekeep it used 50megs. Thought my dad was going to kill me using that much hard drive space. lol

I'm another one that discovered this video on my first PC in the early 90s. The funny thing is that my video card at the time played this in black and white, and that is how I learned to love it. I was disappointed when I upgraded and ported the song over and it played in color. I still have to say I preferred it in black and white. It gave it a different, even more laid back experience.
