I remember this at Disneyland. Personally I like the pre-refurb version, as it was more eerie and gave a sense of suspense. Thee music was also better IMO, if you could actually hear it that is. I remember that most of the time the speakers were broke. B4 DVDs, what they used was for this was a device that would use 2 duplicate VHS taps. It would rewind 1 while playing the other.
@KenVic02 SMTV used to play at Disneyland (We're talking about 5-8 years ago. I thought I was going crazy for a while because I was the only one out of my group who remembered they had some sort of show playing on the TV's. Now in California, last I went there, they only had the instructional video(s) describing what you can plan on experiencing, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. No more comedy.
Gah! I could hardly remember this! I was really young when this part was there. Thank you so much! And they talk about X-S! I never did end up on that attraction. Way too much of a chicken. Then they got rid of it once I was ready to try it out. They should bring it back.
Just went to Disney last weekend (I live in Tampa and go regularly), and checked out for the first time since they rennovated X-S Terrorestrial Encounter...they turned it into Stich's Great Escape. Much more lame, but many elements of the original ride are still in place. Thanks for watching!
Will you please try to upload one with better sound as I can hardly hear a thing and NO it's not my sound system as other videos here sound a helluva lot better.
Walking through the tunnel to get on space mountain sucks. Nothing but health and safety. No entertainment. Is it just me, or is disney becoming to sterile? No imagination anymore. No people mover, no tron tunnel, no forward thinking.
I didn't hear any of the words in the "medicine" commercial after the Crazy Larry ad except something that sounded like "Headache". Was this supposed to be an alienish tongue?
My Favorite part was the Weather Girl wearing Guinan's Star Trek Hat, followed by the Fashion Guy. Watching this again, she reminds me of an evil twin of "Flo" from the Progressive Insurance commercials!
Absolutely...another classic attraction that was retooled into Stitch's Great Escape. Remember, "If something can't be done with X-S, then it shouldn't be done at all". Thanks for watching!
Interesting! You mean the music video that is at the beginning of the clip, "Ghost Riders in the Sky". Kind of sounds like the classic guitarist Richard Dale, who invented the "surfer sound". Thanks for the comments!

I miss this! I was thinking about it recently after the death of Glenn Shadix, who played Ray Cathode.

I miss SMTV. I always found it entertaining while waiting in line. Normally we would see the entire loop before we boarded our train.

@bloodtypexneg Disneyland needs a much better management and new set of Imaginners.

@bloodtypexneg It does suck. The queue is terrible today than the 90s.

God I loved this stuff. Crazy Larry's Used Satellites. I guess I am just stuck in the 90's.
